This video puts the steroid rumor BJ Penn created to rest . Look how ripped GSP was back then . Unlike Bonds he didn't put on muscle in a short period of time . Men don't even hit muscle maturity until their mid 20s . Bj Penns said " he looks like he is on roids because he stays ripped all year round . Steroid users make quick gains in both fat and muscle then lose 10 pounds rapidly right after their cycle . GSP is just a great athlete .

Well he's a Black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Black belt in Kyokushin Karate, he trains vigourously in Thai Boxing, Wrestling, and kickboxing...

@Rippa4ThaGame , he has no black belt in Bjj he is in fact a purple belt, but the blackbelt in Karate is for real. He is just strong and skilled in all phases right now. He has improved to an extremely high level, gonna' be tough to beat.

@nagone11 GSP, in fact, is a black belt in BJJ. In 2006, when I used to train at Renzo Gracie's in NYC, I'd see GSP during the day. He attained his black belt during that time.

He eventually attained his black belt in Brazil recently. And it was just not any BJJ black belt; it was rewarded under the Gracies, which is top notch in the BJJ world.

@Lossforwords78 Ok i wasn't aware of that. I used to train under Royler a bit in Rio but i never did see GSP there, but Renzo's school down by 23rd Street, well i can see that. Regardless, GSP needs no Black Belt in Bjj to sweep up his division. Thanks for the update, how is your training going?? Hope you keep it up and good luck!!

@nagone11 Oh yeah, and they were on 30th street, which was only a 2-minute walk from Penn Station. I was training and had a difficult learning curve. Eventually, I got some finess and started to submit people repeatedly. My friend actually took the back of a fighter named Jamal Patterson, who was a black belt.  I won't name my boy's name, but this kid grew up watching Gracie tapes and studying them.

GSP is naturally gifted, but then his smartness and skills take it to another level.

@nagone11 I meant to say he was a "brown belt during that time." He got his brown under Renzo's. And like I said, he got his black belt down in Brazil fairly recently.

"BEAUTIFUL" quite the understatement, I have seen fights 4 yrs & yrs but I have never seen such an incredible & out of nowhere sweep b4 in my life, GSP went from his back & buddys in full guard & 1sec lata hes on the bottom & GSP has MOUNT, not jsut reversed the sweep but 2 have full mount in 3 secs after being on ur back, that was sick. Almost unfair. GSP is da #1 P4P fighter in the world. Alves is going 2 feel what Fitch & BJ did, outclassed & very very outskilled. GSP by TKO or REF STOPAGE
