Why is it that New Zealanders can't just like the music without making it all about being from NZ? Its so fucking weird because noone else does it and if they do they get torn down for it. "I'm so proud to be American because of bands like Vampire Weekend!!" It just sounds odd.

I'm not ripping on NZ and Salmonella Dub is a great band, but it just puzzles me that the music can't stand on its own without people getting misty-eyed about Aotearoa.

I got to see salmonella Dub in Christchurch, they were on top form.

When I retire I'm going back to NZ for good. Best place I have ever lived. :)

i remember hearing them play in sub culture in queenstown was great. new zealand is a great place, i lived there for a year, and i wish i never left the place.

They are great guys, great musicians and loyal kiwi's. I had the priveledge of providing security for them on a cpl of occasions, having done it professionally for big name stars in europe and the us but these guys beat them hands down for their humility, friendlyness and talent
