We set up 4 x SP machines - 1 Record & 3 Players - each with 3 seconds pre-roll and 0 seconds post roll - all yuv component through the switcher (2 field!!) - and used 'shotlister' to manage the EDL to minimise spooling and reel changes. We cut a full 1 hour docco in less than 2 hours on-line time!

Very interesting! To my mind, Betacam SP is still is the king of SD formats.
Is it difficult to program the mixer?
