Almost 100 000 views yay ^^ Lol I asked the uploader to put the lyrics in the description and now everybody are talking about religion stuff because of the lyrics :D
The song asks us to look at the bible to find contradictions. The Leviticus passage is a contradiction to god being a forgiving deity. In the passage Nadab and Abihu disobey gods command. As a result, fire came from god and consumed them until they died. This song shows how in that passage god is depicted as not as merciful and perfect as modern day Christianity would make you believe. That god is only on your side if you obey. The song lets us know that we can break free from religions grip.
I don't get a christian or satanic vibe from this song. The band just used the Bible as a frame of reference for the lyrics, nothing more nothing less.
I'm christian but I listen to this because I like the song. It is just the "rational" take on the events in the Bible and the world today. Of course the Bible relies on faith which isn't for most people.
It doesn't matter to me what religion, or lack thereof, of you are.
