That has always been my favorite ship from Star Wars. It's still beyond me how the Rebellion ever defeated the Empire given the equipment each side possessed. You did a great job with this. How long did it take you to do that model?

oops wrong send! i mean the stand that helps the ship stand... do they come out? i mean when you decides to place it with out the stand... does it come out easy? and the little star destroyer at the side... does it come out too? smoothly?

@sia19920 Yes! The stand & and mini imperial star destroyer come off easily but yet it is also pretty sturdy. As far as smoothness goes you have to kind of pull it off.

@sia19920 Main issue is though that you don't want to lie it on the back to pull off the the stand which you'll have to do.

The front one is pretty stable, the back one isn't and tends to fall off.

@TheKazamuel Yes this set is basically a set for display and not a set for playing. This is why the minifigures are limited and also why there is just a mini area for the minifigures on the space ship.

@gaylordfaggatron Yes It is pretty heavy after you hold it for about 5 minutes, my arm starts straining. Maybe for stronger guys its light but for little kids it will be heavy and if they drop it on their foot it will damage skin!

I was wondering if you could answer a question I have about this set?

I know, this thing is BEAUTIFUL, and I want to buy it - but for £350, I'd want to be able to play with it. Don't get me wrong, I'm VERY careful with my other Lego sets, but still - just how durable is the Executor? Are we talking 'don't drop it' or 'don't even touch it'? Just how easily will it fall apart?

@ElendilARK You really cannot play with the executor. The set indeed is very fragile. The stands are not even sturdy because of the weight of the ship (like 8-9 pounds 4-5kg). If you were to play the ship needs to be parked at all times otherwise pieces will be falling out.

@lego3311 Should you get this? Its really up to you!!! I did this video to help you decide if you want to get it or not. Honestly speaking yes. It will make your room look like a show room, if your friends come over the first thing they will look at is your super star destroyer and go "Holy crap!!! is that what I think it is?" Then they will spend a good ten mins looking at it. Trust me man its a serious model and it puts all other lego sets to rest becasue its serious and its not kiddy.
