oh my God, I'm watching this right now, as I've watched it before many times. I think I've even posted this before but I can't get over how monumental this archived footage is. Not alone that but how freakin awesome this performance is, even if it is rehearsal. If there is any archived footage from this era of the band it needs to be released. The little clips on the last MCF DVD weren't enough.

C'mon MotleyStue, share with us: where did you find this footage?

Joey gave me a VHS tape with this footage many years ago. I used to work at a Metal Radio show back in the 80s and I would always go to see them at small clubs in the New York City area.

Dawk used to videotape almost all of their shows at these smaller clubs, so they have a ton of old footage with Ross sitting in a closet somewhere. Manowar, like Motörhead, want to focus on their current lineup with the great Karl Logan so I don't know if we'll ever get to more of this older kind of material.

Well I understand if they want to concentrate on the current lineup.. I don't think Karl would feel so good if Manowar would release lots of old Ross-era footage DVDs and not many new DVDs... But heck, Ross was in the band during the 80's when they made most of their albums and IMHO the best albums too. I would definitely buy a DVD that featured Ross-era lineup footage.. definitely!
