@justinjacques766 Correct, the M203 wasn't in the field until 1969, however I couldn't pass up the opportunity to put it on my XM16E1 and test out the new black smoke rounds I got.
@SonOfAWhisker mate, if you know your history, the australian forces in vietnam used most americans weapons, including the m16a1, m60gpmg, and browning 30 and 50 cal weapons.
and yes they also did use the Lithgow SLR L1A1 battle rifle, but it wasnt the only weapon they used.
@LYNCHIE1011 I know they used the M60 and the Brownings but I did not know they used the M16A1 as well, why would the Australians get issued the M203 before the Americans anyways?
the m203 was around at that time wasnt it?

@SonOfAWhisker well, read a few books on it and you will find that they did use the M16..
im not sure why they were issued them before, but the had them from 1968 onward, but ive found that the americans never really used them anyway.
