some people cannot get out the house to exercise, maybe because of kids...but can use this instead.......for a few miunutes as many times as they want. Any exercise is better than none. They can use it with family and friends, it is fun...and a little exercise as well.

But for REAL keep fit, go to a gym or cycle or walk for miles (but not all of us can do that!)

maybe have child  who cannot walk far

maybe it is too much to get kids dressed in coats etc tojust walk the streets (traffic fumes not good )

maybe the person is a carer, and cannot leave elderly parent for long

everyone has different lives and some of us have little 'me time'

maybe live in an area where it is not safe to walk

this is a fun alternative for some people

everyone likes different things

here's the thing: If you really use the wii fit, you can get a lot of great benefits, but there are ways to sort of 'cheat', and if you aren't interacting and legitimately trying to exercise you may not see the benefit. As a cyclist, I don't ride often during the winter. I love using wii fit plus because it keeps me stretched, and just keeps oil in the machine.

no. wii fit plus only uses the normal remote. its just caled plus because theres more exercises and new menues. its basicly an add on to the wii fit because u have everything from wii fit in there. u can even transfer data from wii fit to wii fit plus.

Not what Nintendo was hoping for. I guess they are a little disappointed by Wii sence it's nothing like DS. I see Sony's Wand going in that direction, instead. DS is the king! Don't understimate the mix of casual and core games. PlayStation started it, PS2 expanded it and DS innovated the casual idea further.
