Conscience of nothing, like a deep sleep (story of Lazerus, in Matthew/Luke). After Jesus returns, the first reserection is for the witnesses and worshippers of God, they will serve as kings in heaven for 1000 years during the tribulation. when God talks of the new heaven and earth, the new earth is for the rightoues, he will destroy all bad things and people.

The original texts of the bible never spoke of an eternal hell. Hell is literally a mistranslation, and has been used as a control mechanism over the masses. It is sad that irrational fear is such an effective driver of people. It is also sad that people such as spygurl126 actually try to argue that the concept of hell is just. Not knowing if there is a god is not the same thing as rejecting god - and torturing people for such is not justice. Grow up people.

No attack has held up against Scripture, ie, archeological discoveries to date. Scientists continue to find evidence for a universal flood, from Gen. 6-7. Prophecy, particularly in Daniel regarding the coming of Alexander the Great and then the dividing of his empire among his 4 generals. These are just examples. Sorry I can't respond further.

He did say that all the father gives him will come to him. All are given and all will come but not all at the same time. Death and Hades (hell) are cast into the lake of fire. Conscience of nothing, like a deep sleep (story of Lazerus, in Matthew/Luke). After Jesus returns, the first reserection is for the witnesses and worshippers of God, they will serve as kings in heaven for 1000 years during the tribulation. when God talks of the new heaven and earth, the new earth is for the rightoues, he will destroy all bad things and people.

The original texts of the bible never spoke of an eternal hell. Hell is literally a mistranslation, and has been used as a control mechanism over the masses. It is sad that irrational fear is such an effective driver of people. It is also sad that people such as spygurl126 actually try to argue that the concept of hell is just. Not knowing if there is a god is not the same thing as rejecting god - and torturing people for such is not justice. Grow up people.

@hawklord2001-I think those are excellent questions and are at the heart of this issue. Historically, the Bible continues to hold up. No attack has held up against Scripture, ie, archeological discoveries to date. Scientists continue to find evidence for a universal flood, from Gen. 6-7. Prophecy, particularly in Daniel regarding the coming of Alexander the Great and then the dividing of his empire among his 4 generals. These are just examples. Sorry I can't respond further.

He did say that all the father gives him will come to him. All are given and all will come but not all at the same time. Death and Hades (hell) are cast into the lake of fire. Unbelievers are indeed cast in but the fire is the SECOND death not eternal torment. Ultimately Death is abolished. All will be reconciled as the Bible teaches.

@jeepsterrr How can you twist scripture like that? John 3:15 clearly says that all who BELIEVE in Him will have eternal life. You can't believe in freaking allah and be with Jesus in heaven. Exodus 20:3 says you should have no other Gods before me. Jesus mentions hell as a real place where real people go all throughout the bible? I am so confused, your reasoning is twisted. John 6:37 which you are mentioning has to do with limited atonement which is a whole other subject.

Gehenna, Sheol, Hades and Tartarus. These all have a different meaning. Hades and Sheol are the grave. Gehenna was physical place outside Jerusalem. John 3:15 is completely true except the word is not ETERNAL but AIONAIN which means age lasting. John 6:37 is NOT about limited atonement!!

It was unimaginable to doctors back then, that washing one's hands somehow was related to a patient's health in the operating room. Can you believe that? It is far more reasonable to accept the Biblical claim that God created all of mankind's different languages; than it is to believe that some space-dust from a massive chaotic explosion somehow became life, and then took on intelligence, and then from the same evolutionary process ended up with 7,000 different languages. That makes no sense at all.

The history of mankind should be traceable far beyond 4,000 B.C., going back million of years IF the evolution of mankind were true.
