It contains a powerful genjutsu (or something like that) that essentially takes away all negative emotions and imparts an order of the user's choice. Itachi placed the order to protect Kohoha, to be used on Sasuke if he went bad, which is why Itachi said he hoped it would never have to be used. However, it was recently used to free Itachi from the control of the Edo Tensei. So yeah, Itachi's on the good side again :D

@d3r0n As awesome as he is, he's not the first person to live on after death. Naruto's parents sealed themselves inside him, then there's Kyuubi, Orochimaru inside Kabuto (i wont even start on how nasty that seems)...Naruto characters have a funny way of avoiding death. :P

@TheStarlights88 Kisame has the chakra levels of a tailed beast as well as the chakra eating sword, and high level water jutsu, Itachi has already shown himself to be stronger, he was placed under Sasori, who would have no problems with Deidara's bombs, Zetsu while not "strong" is still being useful to this day, Tobi is ridiculous, Pain "Nagato" while nearly dead was still too much for even Jiraiya to handle, Kakuzu has to die like 5 times, Hidan is prob still alive in that hole

O.o Hidan cannot die, he got his head cut off, and Kakuzu just sewed it back on, and if Deidara tried that, he is not a taijutsu expert, Hidan would destroy him at that point.

@d3r0n orochimaru lives on in kabuto. jiraiya still lives through naruto. Minato and kushina still played a major role after their deaths. and you forget about almost every1 kabuto revived.. so itachi is hardly the only1 to be dead and still be active
I still can't believe he's no longer "with us". He was one of my favourites from the very beginning of the series, but I think his death was a very good part of the story. Shows us that not all stories have a good ending after all. Tho, I really wish he could stay with us longer. R.I.P, Itachi. We miss you!
its not that sad that he died even though he was my second favorite character next to kisame. At the end of his battle with sasuke he could have killed him at any point but insted he decide to give sasuke his power and wisdom which what was what he did when he touched his forehead. by the way did anyone else think it was funny how sasuke was shitting himself when itachi was walking towards him? lol :)

I still can't believe he's no longer "with us". He was one of my favourites from the very beginning of the series, but I think his death was a very good part of the story. Shows us that not all stories have a good ending after all. Tho, I really wish he could stay with us longer. R.I.P, Itachi. We miss you!

its not that sad that he died even though he was my second favorite character next to kisame. At the end of his battle with sasuke he could have killed him at any point but insted he decide to give sasuke his power and wisdom which what was what he did when he touched his forehead. by the way did anyone else think it was funny how sasuke was shitting himself when itachi was walking towards him? lol :)

itachi has been my crush from the very beginning. i knew that he wasnt a bad brother. actually i hated sasuke more bcoz he was so dramatic and always thinking of how he;ll kill itachi. itachi is the coolest guy in the akatsuki and the hottest one and the brain of akatsuki. ^^
