By the way, the scenes where they're together but one or the other was a "projection" did you just shoot those scenes separately and then composite them getting excellent placement out of them or some other trick? I didn't see any of those scenes in your FX reel. Thanks for great work!

@Barua1Drama Well... the guy is making music, and I would never say that someone shouldn't be making music. But you know who I think have great voices? Stevie Wonder, Al Green, even Usher and Ben Harper (to name just a small few). This guy has a completely average voice pushed through Autotune to make it sound like he hits notes clearly. If he was singing at an open stage night somewhere you wouldn't even give him a second thought.

So it's hard to say what are his notes and what the producer input... hard to hear if he actually sings. But I listened to Mercury just now and I admit, he has a decent singing voice for a rapper. So to me he seems like a good rapper with a decent singing voice, who also is very good looking (which is prolly more important to his career than the other factors). He also seems like a nice guy.

It was produced, shot, edited, and special effects done by ONE person... and he happens to be my step-brother. Who cares? You still have to have a good voice in the first place. There are plenty of kids on youtube that add auto-tune to their untrained voices and think that they are being clever and matching the sound of professionals when it actually sounds like shit. Most of the time the auto-tune is set-up without even being in the same key of the song and they don't seem to notice. Garbage in is garbage out. It doesn't magically "transform" someones voice.
