I bought my aquarium late 2011. I had smashed aeroplanes, skulls and ship wrecks over white substrate. No plants and about 30 fish over stocking levels. It took me all but 1 second to decide to change all that when i saw aquariums like this. Now my tank is heavily planted over proper substrate. I have barely any fish to look at - the tank is far more beautifull like this. I hated the overwhelming amount of fish and lack of plants. Most importantly the fish have genuinely changed character!

small dog eating 3000 in year and half, what do you feed it filet mignon? i have two 50 pound dogs and buy the GOOD dog food. There bowls are always full so they eat at there leisure and spend maybe around $500 on food A YEAR....

No! One good quality canned food ($3-5) a day, + shots (30-200) important if you take the dog for hikes etc. the vet and even the trail ranger will tell you too, plus vitamins (for dogs $10-30+good quality dried food "NOT supposed to be main food, only extra(around $50 a month),+once a week boiled chicken for pure nutrition...

This is how a dog is supposed to be kept. You can keep it cheaper, but it will die 1-3 years earlier... I like to keep my animals happy!!! and healthy...

Here I wasn't even talking about grooming... Even if you don't want to do it a lot, they need sometimes basic check ups and grooming... Claw check up (it can overgrow) fur check up (against diseases) and it is good to bath them sometimes, which is not easy if you don't want to make the dog suffer... Eyes can't be washed, but should be only rinsed etc... (like a 100 other things, so either get a book how to do it, because dogs can't let you know if something will hurt in the future, or take

And you need accessories for your dog, like the tank for the fish... I didn't even mention dog snacks :P.. And yes I know LOTS of people who keep dogs from around $1000 a year, but most of dogs (that I know of died around 9-11. when their lifespan is 12-15. Our dogs all lived : one lived 11 and the others 14 and 13. But this $1000 is almost only dried food, no vitamins, no shots (just the mandatory, which is ONLY protecting from COUPLE of virus or bacteria), not much or no grooming etc...

I think this is not the best care in the website above, it is a very basic expenditure for keeping a dog...

it only cost $40 - 50/month, and that includes the tank maintenance, and plant maintenance etc. which is only $480 -600/year! NOT 2400 -4800/year, like a dog! So please try to build a proper tank for your fish! They are pets too, and for them the natural environment means the environment that you can see in this video! So my 30G tank cost me around $600 (without the fish), and I have 2 different 200G tanks, with different temperature, and environment for different fish!
