usually i think that radiohead should not be covered because people don't seem to understand that thom's voice is a very important element in the magic of their songs. i think that your voice agrees with radiohead. very nice.

You know, an absolutely great (and hard to cover) Radiohead is Exit Music (for a Film). Yeah, those needly little notes are almost impossible to hit right every time. I normally just do the chord version of this song too, but I wish I were good enough to do it with just those haunting individual notes. I think that is why I almost have never seen Thom Yorke play this by himself. Johnny Greenwood always backs him up. I think you did an absolutely excellent job covering it vocally and moving it up a bit.

Very nice! One thing, though.. Maybe I wouldn't notice the great amount of strumming as much, if your voice was more at the front of the mix. (I assumed you wanted some critique/feedback.) Other than that I found your playing really good, and it's definitely your version. Good luck with your album! BTW: "Apple Blossom" by The White Stripes is probably way too easy for you. ;P

Originals aren't to a point where I would perform them live.. I'm just reclusively working away at my album little by little. If I don't lose my mind first, I hope it will be worth the wait.

You know, an absolutely great (and hard to cover) Radiohead is Exit Music (for a Film). There is also a fantastic and well-edited music video on here for it that takes the original idea for the song and adds to it. That is something I would love to hear you cover...PPPPPPPPPlease!! (Roger Rabbit squeals...)

I agree with the other comments though: I wish you could do a fingerpicking version...hard as it is. I know you know how, since you put out the "how to play" version. Anyway, this has always been a favorite of mine to play. I'd love to show you my version, but I presently have no webcam...

Thanks y'all. :) btw, I opted to strum this only because I wanted to do it differently (and yes, it is easier while singing). But if you must see me finger-pick it, go watch the 2nd video I ever posted here (there's no singing - I wasn't brave enough to sing yet). It's just a short demo, not the full song, and
you might be blinded by the simultaneous contrast of my shirt, but there it is.

Yeah, those needly little notes are almost impossible to hit right every time. I normally just do the chord version of this song too, but I wish I were good enough to do it with just those haunting individual notes. I think that is why I almost have never seen Thom Yorke play this by himself. Johnny Greenwood always backs him up. I think you did an absolutely excellent job covering it vocally and moving it up a bit.
