  • My choir is singing this for the county-wide chorus performance. We have seven females in the class, no men. Therefore we have no Bass. Just Soprano and Alto. Beautifully done.

  • @maygan62697 Correction, we have no Tenors in our class. However, the rest of the country have Tenors.

  • Who's the author of this piece?

  • there is a beautiful soprano in the midst of all the voices.. this is really wonderful :)

  • i love the cough at the beginning..this is beautiful:)

  • absolutely beautiful!

  • This song is are very nice song.Dieser song ist ein sehr schöner song

  • Latin pronunciation gives rise to discussions very often. I cannot find what is wrong with this beautiful choir of Hungarian children.

On Youtube it is possible to find many choirs around the world singing ''Dona nobis pacem''.

The Mighty God may hear the prayers of all the children of the world.

  • I'm recording this video...

  • @Jamesliketheking: Hah! I want to see an english speaker pronouncing the German words "Dach" or "Krach" right... We CAN sing "pacem" as you think it should be - but on one hand there is a old tradition in school to pronounce it that way (at least my parents learnt it so) which was changed after philology prooved it wring - on the other hand one could argue it sounds better if you sing it, because it is not as harsh...

But anyhow - believe me, we are able to pronounce "ch" - YES, WE CAN :D

  • wow! remarkable for such young kids! this is a very good performance of the song! and the harmonies and pitches are all just right

  • ~!~BEAUTIFUL~!~

  • Wow, they sing this so beautifully!

I've been looking around youtube for a good version of this to listen to (it's been stuck in my head for days) and I believe this is my favorite!

  • Hello, I love this song.

I want take the score, is possible?

    Do you help me please?

    Thank

  • If You send e-mail adress, I replay this score in PDF.

  • I just add a comment of this wonderfull performance .I would like to know if you could send me this score .Thanks a lot .Senga.

  • I just sang that song!!!

  • In some cases, in fact, it is more appropriate to use the "German pronunciation" of Latin which includes ts instead of ch and qvi for qui. (A mass by Haydn would fall into this category). The Italian-based Latin pronunciation (to which you are referring) is probably the most widespread default Latin, especially in English-speaking countries. (More than you ever wanted to know)

  • They sing "Pacem" wrong.

    it's pa CH em

  • what do you expect they are from Hungary

  • Some cultures cannot pronounce the "Ch" sound. It depends on their native language. German speakers generally can't pronounce "ch" either.
