I've seen that there are alternatives for this encredible terrible practice, why not use the more humane one? and besides why not just shave the hair arround that area or breed back those sheep to its original form then they don't have that skin fold. and vegans are no biggots, we draw one line! (and we do not hate people eather) Believe me humanity (farmers too are far better of without aninmal products, true wisdom and heatlh comes forth from comapassion not from use and abuse.

Wool is not the same as leather or Fur. Because sheep are not killed for their wool like animals are for Fur.

In fact if Sheep are not shorn (Remove the Wool) they will eventually die.

Sheep are the oldest domesticated animal on earth.

The Images of slaughter in the Middle East makes most people sick.

Australia is the only country working and spending money to improve animal welfare in the Middle East

It seams it is OK for Peta to Kill unwanted pets because they decide it is in the best interests of the animal to be put down (KILLED).

But if I cut a few strips of skin of a merino lambs tail because I decide it is in the best interests for the lamb to have protection from Fly strike, Peta call me a butcher and animal abuser. Only my lambs grow up to live long healthy lives, NOT so the pets that Peta takes in 90% DEAD.

Those pets the (may) have killed are pets that have been born and nobody wants to have and the state doesn't want ot pay to feed them, besides that are usually dogs and cats wich are meat eating animals who usually eat more defenceless animals .
