Beyond brilliant talent and a perfect mix of members FM had a sense of style that gave them a stage presence that set them apart from most bands of their day. While other female lead singers were wearing logo t-shirts faded jeans and boots Stevie was wearing ruffles, silk, lace, scarves, boas and capes etc. When you see a YouTube today of FM on stage from the 70's they just look great.

Thanks so much for sharing this!! This is such a beautiful version of this song. I had the honor to attend the concert in Houston a week ago and it was a magical evening. When she dedicated this song to her father it was so emotional. I have never seen her before in concert and I turned 50 on May 13th and I have loved her since I was 15 when a friend introduced me to the Buckingham-Nicks album - I was blown away!! Thanks again!!!

Wow! I knew that she was petite, but I didn't know that she was 5'0, I am also 5'0 (former gymnast) I know that she was a dancer. She is so beautiful, the thing about only tall women being beautiful due to the fashion industry's obsession with clothes hanger women is so obviously untrue, ironically, today more actress's than models are on the covers of magazines, and they are often very short. Eva Longoria is only 5'0 as well :)

Every time I hear this song, I cry. If you have ever been in a bad relationship or had a life changing experience, you will always cry to this song. That is what Stevie told back in 1975 when I met her at a concert backstage.

She sometimes appears short next to other singers, including Christine but just wondered as a friend of mine kind of resembles her. My friend is only about 5'1or 5'2" at the most and so we were wondering if you know Stevie's height?

Did see her once on TV at some performance in NY but she did look taller then 5'2".

Her voice actually carries more emotion through it's open technique today than it did before. She reveals an entry to her heart when she sings today. Open and released voice. Nice. We all want her to hit the high notes, but at her age, she can do it when she wants to.

actually... Stevie does not sing from her diaphragm like most singers, this caused her to shread her vocal chords on more then one occasion..Also the coke burnt a hole through her septum, which also cause your voice to change..

This is the earliest live "landslide" I've ever heard...you can tell the vocal phrasing is a little different from even a year later...the audience applaudes at the beginning, proving it was a popular track from the start! The picture of Stevie doing kung-fu was surprising--I knew she was into ballet, but seeing her strike that fighting pose was something else!!!
