This is the first time i have heard this song...I was waiting for some sort of right or ' special' time when I felt relaxed and at peace to take in a new song from Leonard. Listening to your music for the last hour or so has brought me to the place where I was ready...and you sang it...which was absolutely fine...how touching a song...and how touching an experience.Thank you Geoffrey for bringing such gentleness into my night..

@sweetgypsywife thank you, sweetgypsywife, for such a positive and uplifting response. yes, i too thought the atmosphere around leonard's song to be so unbelievably touching - both lyrics and melody. my poor effort comes nowhere near to the original, but it was sung in the night, as a sort of self-therapy, a way to conquer the heaviness of mourning, a way to paddle safely to the shore of the following day. -geoffrey
