looks a great place,i agree 100% with what they say about records. its more than just buying the music, its the searching, meeting like minded people.im from england and these kind of places are fading fast.makes me sad.
Where I worked in 1980. The store was smaller location at that time, on Nassau Street. Most of the product was kept upstairs and displayed downstairs, so I did not sit around "grading" used vinyl all day (above my pay scale). My back got a workout. I look back fondly on those summers in the attic of PREX (NJ in meltdown). Over 30 years later, I still have hundreds of records in their poly sleeves with the Record Exchange logo in my collection. That was what I usually got paid in (my choice).
I always shop at your WONDERFUL record store and always find many records that i had even temporarily forgotten about..Your store is also an educational memory jogger and i always leave much more happy and fulfilled upon checkout and leaving your store.I end up with many many titles.Thank you guys for always such a fabulous experience.Kudos to Princeton Record Exchange!! @HAPL0GR0UP Sorry, we have no idea what you are talking about. We are a friendly store with a friendly staff, and we talk to the customers all day long :) ...it's one of the things we like to do the most.
@HAPL0GR0UP It might just be me but the many of the employees don't seem friendly and can be kind of snobbish. This is something I've noticed over the years so I don't think I'm off in saying this. I've been shopping there for at least 15 years and never felt the urge to carry on a coversation with anyone. This isen't everyone there mind you, I attribute it to the typical Jersey attitude. It is a good store overall, I'm not there to make friends afterall anyway, lol.
looks to like an amazing record store, "save the vinyl and crate dig"

why do you have a rule that the employees of your store are not to chat with the customers?

@TheOmegaeyes I knew the guy (not well). He was a friend of my friend. I remember his favorite music group was Squarepusher.
