There are two things I would have done differently. One is to buy the Death Augmenter before the first wave. This would give you more money to spend on traps, upgrades, and Steves. The other is to place the Steves (archers) on the rift side of the lava pit so they could shoot both the top and the bottom paths.

Everyone, the top comment is not correct. The doors always shake from bashing. You can see in the video that both of them are shaking. A good way to figure out which one comes first is playing the level immediately and then seeing which one comes first, then set up your traps. Thumbs up I guess?

I do most of these levels by just making a maze on a corner, filling it with tar and putting arrow traps on all the walls. That and the OP fire spell that makes a wall of flame just wide enough to totaly disable a door for its duration.

@rjuly28 Yes I do, my first statement was not entirely correct... I went back and played the game and realized that the doors shaking will mean there will be a breach of the gate in the next 3 waves (thats when you get a timeout to reassess your traps and stuff)... so sometimes in the beginning of games you will see doors not shaking and that means you will be free for three waves... so sometimes you will see one or two of the other gates not shaking

Just a thing or two that I discovered that I thought I'd share.

Tips 4 Sips: Gnolls will NEVER go through the rift. They won't rest until you are dead, but they go for guardians first.

Going near the rift automatically restores health.

Always use barricades to crate a single choke point if possible.

Just some stuff that really worked well for me, that I thought might work for you :D

You could have set up 2 barricades before and after the lava, so they would have gathered up in between, ready to get pushed into the lava. Or you could have made some zig-zags out of barricades, and fill it with traps, and then push them in the lava.
