Poor Ronnie . He's mild-mannered and has to put up with all the conflicting personalities. In Richard's book, he was hard on Ronnie and said that Ronnie let too many people close to him with too many drugs. (Yes, Richards said that??!) And that he hit him once. Nothing seemed to make Richards angrier than if the any of the others weren't holding up their end and he had to fill in their parts. he also said that when Ron goes to rehab over and over it's actually gambling rehab so they drink.

In the book "Under Their Thumb" by Stone's associate & journalist Bill German, he describes how Ron Wood & he would make prank phone calls. Ron would check the classified ads for local bar bands looking for a guitarist, & then phone them. When they'd ask what experience he had, he'd say, "well, currently I'm working with the Rolling Stones, & I used to play with the Faces, & Jeff Beck...".
