  • Want to buy one made.

  • That's awesome! That's almost exactly what I wanted to do for my AR. Any idea how much paracord you used?

  • @Kassi4691 I made mine 36" long. It took two pieces 36 feet long. So if you need a 38" strap, you will need two pieces 38 feet long. Be prepared to spend several hours making these slings. Follow the link in my description of the video to find out how to make them step by step. Tiat was making a bracelet, it is basically the same thing.

  • You said you used 2 strands but I thought three was needed for this weave. I'm gonna make a few myself but let me know 2 or 3. from what I watched from TIAT it looks like three.

    Thanks. BTW awesome slings.

  • @441MPYSstihl I do use two strands. Find Tiats video where he makes a bracelet using a double solomon. Its newer than the one you are watching.

  • been considering making one from leather cord, think it would be strong enough?

  • @imbadwrench Not sure about how strong leather would be. I am sure it will be fine as long as the leather cord is round, otherwise it will have a bunch of twists in it. Never worked with leather before. I am planning on making a full instructional video on making a sling in the future when I have time.

  • Super cool! I've been practicing stuff from the TyingItAllTogether channel and my next project is a shotgun sling. I was going to use the Wide Solomon and now I'm sure of it. Great work, thanks for the video,

  • Bad ass. Nuff said. I'm a little worried about the ends simply being heat fused. I'm going to find a way to tuck and hide them and post the results.

  • @Kaqmijn The ends are tucked under and fused there is no way they are comong loose. Thanks for watching. I will be making a new sling for my 35 Whelen I bought yesterday. I will post a video later this week.

  • @nedyahr Ah, I was unaware they were tucked. No worries then.

  • i know how to start it but i dont know how tie at the end of the other clip? Any chance of a how to video?

  • @DannyIIIvb I basically just thread the ends into the backside of the strap then fuse them with a lighter. I make sure I have a butter knife handy to mash all that melted rope into the sling so it looks nice and holds better. I may post a how to video soon.

  • where did you buy your paracord?

  • @mrahmatian24 For some reason it wont let me reply to you with the link to where I purchase it.

  • @nedyahr Sam made me a strap for my bugout bag... thing is way more comfortable than the old strap and it has over 140feet of cord! Paracord is amazing. Belt is a cool idea.

  • @nedyahr Thats weird haha would it possible to tell me the google search?

  • @mrahmatian24 website is wholesale-parachute-cord(dot)com.

  • awesome slings. My wife just made one of these for one of my friends.

  • @MrJmfitch I just made me a belt using black. Used an old Harley Davidson belt buckle! Turned out awesome. Thanks for viewing.

  • interested to know how you finished the end and attatched it to the clip thanks

  • @lakerfaninutah1 Go to the link in my description and it will take you to JD's video of him making a bracelet. I pretty much did the same thing he did at the end. Thanks for watching. Please Subscribe. I will be posting a video pretty soon of a belt I am working on.

  • Thank you. That was really cool of you to mention me, and I'm super impressed by how your sling turned out. Well done!

    Keep up the great work!

Best to you and all your ties,

    JD ~ TIAT

  • @TyingItAllTogether Your welcome. Love your videos. We have really enjoyed tying your knots. I will be buying your book soon!
