Ronnie Tabak!! was most certainly one of a kind in the world of Rock with his unique power house sound and range and was and will always be the voice that made Prism and continues to do so even from beyond the Rock N' Roll grave!! R.I.P Mr. Tabak! we still adore you and love you!!!
I was just a young teenager when I seen this concert on TV it was AWESOME due to there was a lot of big name bands from 50's right up to the events date. Wish I could remember the name of the concert.
@annfreefly Prism isn't a very popular band anymore, they make small tours, mostly in Canada, playing in a lot of smaller towns and venues. If you wanted a guitar signed by Prism to be worth anything it'd have to be one used during one of their tours from 1977 - 1984 or at least the same era they would have used and be signed by all members with very little signs of use. If you asked them to just sign your guitar right now on a reunion show it probably wouldn't increase the value at all.
Didn't know they were still around or that anyone else knew of them except for some old Army buddies of mine from the mid to late 70's. One of them turned me on to them. I still have a cassette ot them.
remember the super sunday's they had in vancouver in the late 70's at empire stadium.prism, trooper, heart and all the other big bands playing...twas a fun time...still miss ron---great voice--once again,,,thanks vancouver police.....
this is from the era when bands knew how to play live, no electronic background trak, lip syncing, etc....it might sound cheesy, but these guys rocked
I use to love this band when I was a kid growing up in western Canada. Shit everybody did before we were Knew how to be cool. At 14 years old this shit rocked! Kinda a Canada's version of a cross between early Styx and Blue Oyster Cult. Love it!!!!!
holy shit, this is why i luv u tube,i just stumbeled across some primo canadian schlock crapola chesse!!!!havent heard this crap for 25 yeaqrs!!!! lol lol lol
wow i i used to al harlow from the band when i was like 16 27 now I was like him and his wifes nanny when they went on a trip to mexico(i when't to) super nice guy.......very cool to actually see what he looked like on stage!
if you go on the prism website there are audio files or rare versions of stuff..actually pretty amazing how they ended up with what they had, if you listen to the first version of spaceship, the second one is closer, cool to see how the song evolved..so to speak
Yes we need more songs from Prism. This was the first time I saw Ron Tabak and he is as I imagined as well. Thanks for posting this one. Please someone post more songs
