Thanks for uploading. I use have most all the DD movies on VHS, oh so long ago. I watched them so many time, I think I wore the tapes out. Another one I liked, though w/o Doris was "Man's Favorite Sport". "Lucky Me" was a good movie too, I use to have it on VHS, wish I still did. Robert Cummings was a favorite of mine and I thought he was good in that one.
Why shouldn't married couples kiss like that? Couples need to realize that they are lovers before and after children. That is why married couples need to have dates, weekends to a bed and breakfast, occasional spur of the moment honeymoons, etc. My Mom and Dad were married for 52 years. Classic intelligent and subtle American comedy with a solid script, perfect acting, great editing,.. American comedy at its best! They rarely make them like that anymore - for more check: Man's favorite sport, Pillow talk, Come September (all with Rock Hudson). The Party (Peter Sellers) is another amazing comedy on a soundtrack of Henri Mancini.

Something happened and as I mentioned below, it is reflected in our films and music. Thanks for uploading. I use have most all the DD movies on VHS, oh so long ago. I watched them so many time, I think I wore the tapes out. Another one I liked, though w/o Doris was "Man's Favorite Sport". "Lucky Me" was a good movie too, I use to have it on VHS, wish I still did. Robert Cummings was a favorite of mine and I thought he was good in that one.

Why shouldn't married couples kiss like that? Couples need to realize that they are lovers before and after children. That is why married couples need to have dates, weekends to a bed and breakfast, occasional spur of the moment honeymoons, etc. My Mom and Dad were married for 52 years. My Mom had the upmost respect for my Dad who worked very hard all of his life. Peace.

@MsBedwell I completely agree. when you watch the news reels in 1985 when Rock was sick, the media was very mean and explosive against a human being who brought talent and joy to so many people and that was the thanks he received. It was beautiful when Doris Day stuck by Rock's side to the very end of Rock's last months. So I say, Rock's personal life is between him and his Lord and we should be glad that we were exposed to such talent in our time.

My Mom knew Rock was gay way before anyone publicly had a clue. She went to a B'way play way back when Rock was first getting popular. Rock came to see the play with a bunch of guys. My Mom said the whole audience was ooohing and ahhing and when she came home she said that man in gay. It was the way Rock and the other men were acting toward each other that she picked up on it.

@eljay345 Yes it seems as if all the top stars of the 1950s and 1960s ended up on the high and popular end of the 1970s televison before it became cable and rotted to the core. I am so appreciative that we were able to be introduced to such talent on regular television as I had not know that many of them in this film alone were on the silver screen. I did not know than Ann B. Davis was even in this movie until I did a double take on the opening credits. What great history!

We attended private schools as children & my dad yanked us right out of public school into a higher class mixture of race,background, & A+scholastic talent. None of us on our block even wore jeans as I recall & this was 1984! Can you believe that. We were not allowed to look half eaten going downtown. We wore our best.If we did not, it was an embarrassment. I won't even go out today looking like unkept.

We had a solid chance in our upbringing and by today's standards, the 70s&80s appear more and more as the 60s (at least where we lived) & there was no disrespect of one another as well. Our parents stayed married for over 34 years The stay at home mom keeps children out of trouble & more inspired to suceed. There were too many socio-political changes as far as gender movements & men were not as interested in being married.

She is a actress and singer who started in romantic comedies in the 1950's and 1960's. Doris Day's last film ' With 6 You Get Egg roll' was filmed in 1968. Sadly she never made a movie since and at her age she probably won't make another.Her leading men were Rock Hudson, James Garner and Jimmy Stewart to name just a few.
