As a frequent visitor to Madeira I think that is incorrect. It looks a very normal landing. This runway is nearly 2,800 long and the plane touched down between a quarter and a third of the way down (you can't even see the 1,000m extension in this video) so the pilot had at least 1800m. 200m more than the original runway length before the extension.
0:45 we are bit too high... Yoink.. 1:03 braking haaaaaard.
