You get a huge few hundred combo. I just started with this game yesterday and I didn't reach a 100 combo yet, the song I downloaded is only standard difficulty and higher.

But my point is just keep going, you don't have to expect to be amazing straight away.

@Watson690 Yeah, that's true. It's pretty hard to learn, but it seems like I can learn this game pretty fast. :D That's probably because of my arcades games gene, usually I can play all types of arcade games. :P

Hey I have a stepmania problem I need help with. Lately my computer has been getting a low FPS on it and don't know what the problem could be since I have a AMD Phenom II quad core processor at 3.2 GHz and a Nvidia 9800GT video card. I don't have frame rate drops like this on any other 2D game. I already tried closing out background applications but the machine still runs the same with the game. Not smooth enough gameplay to play correctly, it's annoying.

Just wanted to clarify that, while Stepmania is a game for the computer, I did use a pad on this. You can play this game with a dance pad/mat as long as it has a USB adapter. I used a BNSUSA Fusion II metal pad.  =]

@kballo321 It's a very old simulation of DDR for the pc. It's just called DDR, not always about dancing, it's just the name of the video game like Guitar Hero it's not meant to be a "simulation" of actual anything, it's just a fun video game. It's fun to play with a keyboard or controller.
