I can't work it out very well with the colouring of this camera, but I think Sky is a girl. She has a pink nose(?) Also, I called my Budgie Sky as well :)

Hi, just got 2 birds ya day as a gift. One is white n the other one is yellow. Need help

1. Yellow one is vry small as I feel. How to take care of that baby. Shd I keep the baby is separate cage. I already hav 2 birds in cage n now two more.

2.will it be okay to bath the baby bird.???

3. How to know the gender of the birds. White one is havng a pink kind of cere. And the yellow baby hav vry light pink/ cream colour.

@monaj78 1. I would put the new ones in a separate cage right next to the other cage so they could get a feel of the other budgies.

3. It's hard to tell the sex when it's young. The cere changes colors when its a adult. If the white one has a pink cere as a baby, it could be a male. A pastel budgie (Yellow) is opposite.

It takes a lot of patience and try to feed them from your hand, then they will understand that you are a source of food. After that they will build their trust with you and it could take months or even years! Good Luck and remember to talk in a soothing voice too!

in responce to sonata80, all baby budgies have pinksh noses. i have budgie who had that same type nose and so i thought it was it was a boy because it also had blue on it as well but it turned out to be a girl with a deep brown nose.

I had a blue budgie like 3yrs ago, they were so well trained i would walk 20mtrs away and clap my hands and they would come running straight to me. Would of still had him if it wasnt for my idiotic brother scaring them by nocking a glass window where i put them and scared him and flew away! But now have cockatiels....but miss my budgie so much.
