I especially feel a special need to protect it's greatness. For in the West many like to defame the continent (just look one comment down @angloengland). Europeans were so impressed with it that they refused to believe Africans built it and insisted foreigners left the monuments. They looted the place afterwards. Idk where u got ur info 4rm, but there hasn't always been civilization in EVERY corner of any continent. The castles & churches of Ethiopia are great, just as the monuments in Songhai and the artifacts of Benin. I'm really proud to be African

Yes you are right but it's pretty much proven that the city of Gondar was founded by Emperor Fasilides who was an Amhara African, and Gondar was NOT a blend of cultures either it was a local African CITY. Why become Europeans or White? Better to be Italian, German, or Scottish and preserve your heritage -and be proud to be European. Same with Africans of various tribal, religious regional affiliation.

what about great zimbabwe, that predates these castles, great buliding started in the land mass we called africa and asia, these building techniques, were passed on the the greeks from another set of africans called Egyptian who called the land Kemet, Greeks passed this on the the Romans who passd it on the many other european nations including England. Anyway because a naton is able the build great building does n't mean they are better than people who live a humble livestyle

@angloengland Moron, Bantu immigration to the southern part of Africa is actually quite recent, so it's not strange at all. Western Africa had many ancient structures, many lost now and the haya in Tanzania were the first to make carbon steel. Africa proper never had a bronze but went straight from stone to iron age faster than anyone else. How do you explain britain has no ancient structures of worth? Don't tell me Stone hedge; stone hedge are just big rocks and is overrated and primitive.

Similarly the African equivalent of the Romans and Greeks were the Egyptians and Nubians; while not exactly the same as the other Western Africans (although still closely related), they were still Africans. If you say no, then I'll have the right to argue that the Romans and Greeks were not quite the same as the Germans and Celts.

Haplogroup E1b1a is typically a sub-saharan halogroup relating to Negro people, the frequency of this halogroup in Egyptians insubstantial. This is why I have asked for evidence of structures in sub-saharan Africa as evidence of Negro peoples achievements - and not the achievements of a substantially mixed people/ other race.

The Nubians were Nilotic and the nilotes, Ethiopians and South Egyptian (probably more representative of Ancient Egyptians) have all the haplotype A, (M198 not mutated) which are found in high frequency in Southern Nile region (root of Egyotian civilization) as well as South Africa. So the Nubians, ethiopians, ancient Egytpians and sub-saharan Africans are all cousins. I ask you the same question, what evidence of anc, civ you have for N.Europe?

@angloengland What hell are you babbling about. N.European and S.European are not from the same exact haplotype. N.E is haplotype I1 and S.E is I2. Similarly haplotype E has many subclades that includes most of Africa (North Africans included) and even Italy and Greece to a lesser extent. It is unexpectedly high in the Balkan. So if you question Bantu a. civ you should also question Nordic lack of a.civ.

@TemplarX2 Lets take just one European haplogroup as an example R1b - this is shared by 40 - 60% of NW Europe (UK, Ireland & Iceland), to 40% of Central Europeans/ Scandinavians to 50 - 60 of SW (Spain. Portugal, Italy. Our haplotypes prove we are the same - using your example haplotype alone I2, this is present up to 40% plus in former Yugoslavia, 5-10% in Spain, 5-10% in Latvia, 10-20% in Belarus, 5-20% of Germans and is present in 1-5% of most Europeans - so not limited to SE Europe at all!

@angloengland Nonsense Haplotype IJ (which has subclades I1 and I2) is actually rare in Italy and Greece, less than 5% in Italy (except for Sardinia) and at most 20% in a few regions of Greece. So no you are not the same people. I have the damn map right in front of my very eyes and you are lying to me! By the way Africa is not limited to h.group E. There's a myriad of haplogroups, including A from which E is a descendant and this haplogroup has the Ethiopians and Sudanese.

So there we go, just this one subclade shows significantly right across Europeans once again.

Poloni, Silvia Paracchini et al., "A Predominantly Neolithic Origin for Y-Chromosomal DNA Variation in North Africa," American Journal of Human Genetics 75:338–345, 2004' - 0% in Egypt. Sudan also is curiously absent of this haplogroup - although North Africans do have 1-5% R1b haplotype.

@angloengland More specifically A3b2-M13 is very high among Sudanese and some Ethiopians as well the Hausa (sub-saharan). i quote that for you: "E1b1b is at once the most common E subclade amongst East African Maasai, Somalis, Ethiopians, Eritreans and North African Sudanese, Egyptians, Berbers and Arabs." Note Maasai and applied to Kenyans too. note also that E1b1b is nearly identical similar to E1b1a (West Africans), closer that N.E is to Greek and Romans.
