  • yar your middle finger is not on E its on B on which you are hammering!

  • @007raza1 I meant the note, not the string. 5th fret on the B string is the E note; I'm hammering on the E (from a D#).

  • liked it.. nice tutorial.. thanx

  • Man what I get from this video o urs is ur tryin to show off more than u teach ....I mean strumming pattern u wud add filler without actually mentioning it...

  • @hardtalkbbc You're kidding, right? I spent a whole minute on the strumming pattern *and* it's also in the video description.

  • people can understand better if you could make its BASICALLY a hindi version..

  • @lifebuzz007 Sorry dude - my Hindi is pretty bad, and I wouldn't inflict it on any unsuspecting person :)

  • Learn d sng n have fun mah guitar lover frnds

  • hey help me how must i tune my guitar to get this effect bass middle treble clean gain tone?

  • @XxXNupsXxX Hi - the tone is in the guitar and amp. I didn't do anything particularly special, just set the knobs to where it sounded good to me. This will vary by guitar and amp, so there isn't a recipe I can share, I'm afraid. You'll have to use your ears and tune it to your setup.

  • @strumbringer OK thanks anyways buddy i am glad i learnt something from you keep the good work ahead will be watching you

  • Well done, man! Is that a PRS guitar?

  • @supersajji Thanks! Yes, it is.

  • @khaitru22 I'm removing your comment - no racism on my channel, please. Your behavior is an embarrassment to Indians everywhere.

  • dude!!! is that a PRS McCarty???????

  • @n3m0prince It's a PRS, but Custom 24 not McCarty.

  • @n3m0prince dude it`s a PRS se allender the cradle of filth signature

  • @MrAman8106 Nope, it's just a regular (non-SE) Custom 24.

  • but the second part of plucking is on A major..

  • @maddio007 No, it isn't. You can play A major if you like, and it will sound OK but it changes the feel of the intro because it reduces the tension. These are the chords played in the original song.

  • @strumbringer wow....you speak English pretty good dude....I gotta agree, Indians are really good at music....me and my band are tryin' to incorporate this song into a portuguese version.....Vamanos !!!

  • sound type?????????????????????????

  • @MrTanmay123apple I'm not sure I understand the question...?

  • oh okay na man my guitar is perfect no problem in it what so ever your right just need practice =P thanks for the advise

  • iand dude ant tips on how to bar the 4th string i cant apply enough presure to keep them down =|

  • @muffytin12 Assuming your guitar doesn't have too much of a bow in the neck, or too high action (both of which can be repaired by a good guitar technician), the key is to use gravity rather than pressure to apply the barre. hold the guitar with the neck tilting slightly towards you, then make sure that the strings that need to ring out in the barre are not near your finger joints, and allow the weight of your hand to press the strings down. Takes a little practice, but is a lot easier that way.

  • is your guitar tuned in standard or what?

  • @muffytin12 Yes, standard tuning.

  • NICE WORK

is the strumming pattern same throughout the song that is DduDU DduDU???

  • A great help for learners! :-) Thanks mate...

  • @saaraunsh Thanks :)

  • thats a one awesome guitar.. wat effects pedal are u using?

  • @phozon123 Thank you. I'm using a Boss GT-10 in this video. I've sold it since so I'm not sure what the exact settings were, but if I remember correctly I added a little bit of chorus and EQ to a Fender clean amp sim.

  • hey DUDe jus tell me na dat how i'll find the notes of guitar on this song ........

    plz reply dude

  • @Razor10207 I'm not sure I understand the question - I do mention what all the notes are in the tutorial. Were you looking for something different?

  • hey dude bt v hav standard guitar........!

so how cn v play it on dat jus make a new vedio.......!

  • can u plzz tell me how to make muting effect in chords?????

  • @jalrox123 I use "left hand muting" for this song, basically you loosen your left-hand grip, keeping all the fingers in place, when you want to mute the chord. The other technique is right-hand muting, where you touch your right hand palm (outer edge) to the strings to mute. AC/DC uses a lot of right-hand muting, but most acoustic guitar muting and chord muting (esp. on barre chords) is done with the left hand. Hope that helps!

  • @jalrox123 I prefer to do DDU DDUD

  • can u plzzz say tht wich guitar u r using?

  • @Guitarlover032 It's a PRS Custom 24

  • basically basically basically basically hahahahaha ...........sry but nyc tutorial

  • Brother awesome video man , very very helpful , 5 stars

  • basically....good video :D

  • Please can you put the strumming pattern in the video description. It's kinda confusing. Thanks.

    Oh, and nice guitar.

  • @TheSquarerootof4 It's basically D-dU-Ud--DuD- where the capital letters are emphasized. In a couple places, he changes it up and emphasizes other notes. Basically the bar is divided so that there are some key beats: !--!--!--!-!- (If you divide the bar into sixteenths). As long as you emphasize those beats, you'll be fine. One key is to listen to the drummer and lock on to him.

  • this is a perfect tutorial...... but a little difficult for beginners..... i'll try.

from where do you get the chords and notes? Or you listen to the song and make it yourself?

  • @chitnisparixit Thanks! It'll take a little practice, but it's actually not very hard to play :-) I worked out the chords and notes by ear.

  • thankxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.......

  • this is just perfect i m trying hard and i hope this video works for me thanks a lot mate and keep contributing useful things like this ... ! (can u plzZ post a description of the different chords used and the notes u have played in the intro so that if the voice is not clear enough one can read the details and lear it more easily plz do put some of that)

  • is there CAPO on 4th fret 2:25

  • @mianharisali2 No, I don't use a capo. I'm using my first finger as a barre across the 4th fret, though - like a capo, but just my finger. Look up barre chords for more info.

  • is there CAPO on 4th fret 2:25

  • @Evyias Thank you! It's a PRS Custom 24.

  • yeh saray guitarests ko aadat etna acha kyoun lagta hai.can any body tell me?

  • be a guitarist to get your answer...

  • very nicely done... thanks for your efforts

  • gr8 man

  • Thanks a lot for a great tutorial, nicely done :).

  • coooool

  • thanks brother, i am learning aadat from you

  • are they Major or Minor chords??

  • C#m = C# minor

    B = B major

    A = A major

    B = B major.

    Normally, if one just names the chord without the "minor" or "major", it's a major chord. If one adds an "m" at the end, it's a minor chord;

  • tnx..

  • Comment removed

  • @tayyebkhan C#m, B, A, B

  • c#m9th? is that equivalent to C#SUS2?

  • Yes in this case, since there's no 3rd (the bass/keys fill that in in the song).

  • awesome yar...can u lz hel me with the song sajni from jal band

  • Thanks everyone. Unfortunately, I don't have a lot of time to pick up new material, but I'll see if I can get Sajni figured out, given how many requests I've had for it. It may take a while, though.

I want toplay aadat on my simple spanish guitar....

  • It's a barre form C#m with a D# note on the B string instead of E. So it looks like:

    E: 4

    B: 4

    G: 5

    D: 6

    A: 6

    E: 4

    HTH

  • Oops, I meant

    E:4

    B:4

    G:6

    D:6

    A:4

    E:4

  • dear can i play this same on Acoustic guitar?

  • Sure. It sounds great acoustic too.

  • Comment removed

  • can u write the tabs down as well?

  • Great lesson! thx alot :)

    btw Nice guitar.

  • buddy, u have put a lot of effort to explain it in DETAIL..hats off to u for ur efforts buddy..still amazed at d no. of comments coming in...come on ppl that is something worth appreciation..cool buddy..5 stars and thumbs up for u.. :)

  • Thanks - glad you enjoyed it. :-)

  • Should sound pretty close. The only place where it won't sound the same is the short distortion part at the end, but that sounds good on acoustic too.

  • will this sound same on a acoustic(jumbo) guitar

  • The way I've laid it out is probably the easiest way, unfortunately. You can try playing the same chords in other positions and see if that makes it easier...

  • nice tutorial :)
