  • very nice car.

  • I should never have sold my GT coupe :-(

  • they should have sold these cars in the USA; would have become an instant classic

  • @bbo40 And many Australians would like Ford to remake them.... But corporate headquarters is abandoning the regional Ford brands concept of Henry Ford for global platforms, regardless of the successful models that will be sacrificed. And that means all Australian Fords will be gone. Goodbye classics.

  • The actual code for a GT is JG33, a JG66 is a falcon 500 I think.

  • @reeceracing123 JG33 is a XB GT SEDAN. JG66 is a XB GT HARDTOP/COUPE!

Here's a good location to educate yourself more: xbgt.info

  • @scar2783 Ohh. Ok! Thanks :)

  • @reeceracing123 No ,JG66 is for GT Hardtop ,JG33 for GT sedan

  • god I love that car, I dream of owning one some day.

  • @fordxbgtfalcon $50 in the junk yard.Old piece of Junk.

  • @timrocket2008 ha ha in your dreams son, lol

  • How much could one of these cost?

  • I love classic Aussie muscle cars! The Falcon XAs, XBs and XCs. The Monaros. The Toranas.

  • I own a 2006 Ford Taurus and proud of it! The XB is my first choice for a muscle car, the Mustang is my 2nd choice - Ford has ALWAYS had it right!

  • God that's a beautiful car

  • very sexy xb gt very nice ford mate

  • Why couldn't Ford have a car like this in the 70's in the US?

  • @culcun Torino? Mustang?

  • @xbfalcon351coupe This car was the best of both worlds--like a cross between the '71-'73 Mustang and the Torino. By 1975, our Mustang was a Pinto, and our Torino was an ugly beast. The only true muscle in 1975 in both engine and looks was the Firebird line in 455 cubic inch form. Of course, 60's musclecars were both plentiful and cheap during the 'dark' years.

  • @culcun yep, true mate - I'd forgotten the Mustang II...I think the thing we all have to face is that the `good' cars we grew up with as cheapies are now the rare high dollar stuff..in both Aust and the US - for years, we used to salivate over how cheap you guys could get cars for (like e.g. HotRod's `Crusher' Camaro they got for $700 to save it being crushed ) but there and here forget it nowadays. Even 4 door stuff here's getting pricey. We can still find stuff in the outback here tho...

  • @xbfalcon351coupe I shudder watching Road Warrior which I think was known everywhere else as Mad Max 2, with all that Australian muscle turned into post-Apocalyptic highway trash. I guess I should start stocking up on the early to mid-80's Camaros/Firebirds and Mustangs with the 5.0 liter engines.

  • @culcun yep, there's a wreckers over here who I've noticed has stockpiled every complete 67 to about 1978 Falcon, Fairlane etc thats come in...

  • the front of the car reminds me of a mach 1 and the back looks a lot like the earlier model torino

  • What a stunning car,love it.

    FORDS RULE

  • Great to see you blokes enjoying our cars, classic now very hard to find one in this condition.

    Thanks for posting.

  • I love the XB. So this is in America? That shows them that we can build muscle cars too. Did the owner change it to left hand drive because i saw something about a left hand grip. Anyway, beautiful car, beautiful sound.

  • Ford is so sexyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy...god damn ,some one pass that to my missus lol

  • so nice. What is the price of that car? I just love mad max style car, but I never so such car in Serbia :(

  • mad max was the back end of a gt coupe with some other peice of shit

  • better than a Forden!! i would suppose :-)

  • everyone has their own tastes, in europe australian made cars are nothing, then you have to understand that both ford and holden badge euro cars as their own. Show some respect to what other people enjoy. Maybe you dont deserve to call yourself australian for hating everyone elses opinions.

  • Ford shits on Holden

  • Depends what ford.. and depends what holdens :)

  • Well our pre 80's Fords shit on em easy, they were dommanating the 60's and 70's.Now we been chewing em up again for the last 10+ years :P

  • Id prefer a fpv then a hsv :P for sure

I like the older holdens tho :P

even tho the old fords are good too :P

  • @fpvshitsonhsv SHITS on FPV

  • @bonzoAU What shits on FPV? did you mean "bonzoAU SHITS on FPV"? I forgot to write on that comment that i like from 88 onwards. Its just the XD-XF i dont really like as i had 3 of them as a young lad and everyone of them was a lemmon.I spent so much money on them bloody things (2x XE and XF). Got my EA and done a 5spd mod and it was insane, now rolling a BA xr6t :)

  • @fpvshitsonhsv for give me.

take your nic then continue on with HSV shits on FPV.that simple in think

  • @fpvshitsonhsv mate why are you insaulting ford

  • @UnIuckyChucky Im not im defending Fords and saying they shit on the comp

  • "HEY LOOK KIDS...IT'S MADMAX!!!!"

  • Does that mean you will also delete your Myspace account?? It is Australian owned you know?

    Kokoda

  • man that car is sexy, you aussies have some nice muscle down there!!!

  • my dad had one of these in cuba when he was in his 20's in blue!!!

  • This is one of the baddest looking cars with a FORD badge on it; shame it never sold in the USA it would have been a classic !

  • wezskid, if you don't wanna be an 'American' rip off, spell ass with 'Arse', krod!!! ner.....

  • For all you sheilas, It is an Australian car but not that Aussies like to admit it, it is based on some Sepo shit box and runs a Sepo engine. Same goes for Holden. All shit boxes.

Im Australian and I drive a Volkswagon! hahahahahahahahha

  • "Im Australian and I drive a Volkswagon! hahahahahahahahha"

You drive one, yet you can't even spell it. It's "Volkswagen."

  • Your a fucking twat!! You tubes global not american dumbass & america didnt save us from shit! We defended our selves in new guinea, sydney,& darwin, america only joined in cause of pearl harbour!!! And no they shouldnt be able to have rare Aussie muscle cars imported to america.

Only some Holden cock smoker would say such a thing... Firstly cause who wants an SLR/5000 or HK monaro in the states no one...So next time some ones importing 1 to the US get in the trunk and go too! Sell out bitch!!

  • they should send a xy gt over there and the new ford and the ol ones

  • yotty2001: i love these cars aswell im from australia but i dont mind other countrys importing them aslong as they respect them and take care of them much like we do with their american muscle cars

  • i miss the days when you could tell a ford from a holden,when they were completly different cars.the GT`s, the cobra`s,oh the cobra`s,the monaro`s & torana`s,they were the days,still hate the XU1`s.

  • @znotty They do look similar these days don't they.

  • calm down dude! and the yanks never saved us in WW2...

  • WOULD'nt be an AMERICAN EXTREMIST! would he

  • i dont think its cool to see an aussie muscle car in the state's at all lol, we need to keep em here!

  • nice to see Aussie muscle in the states, i have the street machine magazine edition with that xb gt in it, beautifull car.

I love mustangs but i still believe Aussie falcon coupe are better :)
