  • lol at 10:06 btw good video.

  • Great video! I hope you don't mind me sharing it on fb.

  • Very informative thank you

  • favorited. definitely helping me narrow down my choices.

  • This certainly helps w/ my decision-making!

  • Your video should be required viewing, not only for those struggling with choosing a weapon, but definitely by those others making videos. Yours is clear, concise, well thought out and easy to watch. You knuckleheads that think that all you need is a camera and some half baked ideas on how to present your opinions should carefully study this video.

  • Great video! Definitely going to take a lot of this into consideration when I start looking at my first concealed carry.

  • Really well done video. Thanks!

  • Springfield XD line is IMPORTED from Croatia (6:12 just to the right of Italy) and are known in Europe under HS 2000 name... Springfield only bought U.S. import rights

Springfield 1911 are manufactured in Brazil and some are assembled in USA

  • @ideagles do u normally carry a .50ae pistol everywhere you go?

  • Really how does he have a dislike?

  • @mattthekingdong ideagles was probably butthurt that vuurwapen didnt promote a 12 INCH LONG .50ae desert eagle for concealed carry.

  • why not carry knives?

  • @TheKristianhudson cause ur not supposed to bring a knife to a gun fight!

  • This was a very good video. A lot of food for thougt.

  • Omg I love your videos! SO GOOD!

    Kind of monotone though...

STILL AWESOME! (I'm going through them all right now ^_^ )

  • Probably someone has asked this before, but are you Dutch? And if not: How did you think of your nick?

  • i can tell u the 50AE is gonna stop them. theyre not gonna die 6 hours later

  • you missed IMI

  • great video

  • good video

  • Best video in CCW choice! I totally agree with you and my next pistol for CC will be chosen following your good rules! I have just one different opinion: first of all since a gun can save your life budget would be increased as you can to buy best weapon for you needs. In other words, if the gun you are most proficient with is expensive try to buy it anyway. Saving 500 dollars and being killed is not a good idea. P.S. I love 45 ACP and 357M but I'm going to buy a 9mm

  • I liked the video , but have one disagreement...i've owned Bersa firearms and would recommend them to anyone who's budget is low. They are excellent guns for the price, that can't be said for many other low-budget weapons manufacturers. Overall i agree though, you should've given some examples of the less desirable guns. Thanks for posting.

  • I`ve enjoyed this video,Cheers.

  • Very good videos

  • why is walther not in the picture?

  • Gotta say thanks mate...It was indeed useful and informative...

  • very good info, i will share this.

  • damn this was a good video

  • Thanks for the vid.

  • OUTSTANDING VIDEO, COULDNT AGREE MORE ON EVERY POINT! THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONTRIBUTION

  • I like how on the US map ND wasn't labeled but with a question mark. ND ROCKS!

  • @TheWeaselkeeper (great name btw), did you shoot FMJ or JHP.

  • Very well done

  • "I am not a woman" lol. Are you sure?

Just kidding man, your vids are great

  • What kind of holster is that with the glock?

  • @bigswan61 Praetor Defense

  • @VuurwapenBlog ahh you're a taurus hater....lame

  • @tubevideoguy762 Former Taurus owner. Former point man for dealing with Taurus CS for a gun store. Yes I'm a Taurus hater, but no, it's not lame.

  • @VuurwapenBlog my respone to that is i have owned a taurus 24/7 .40 for almost 6 years put around 2k rounds through it had maybe 5 failures to eject in all that time they ARE reliable weapons not sure about customer service ive been luck enough to not have to deal with them

  • @tubevideoguy762 Respectfully, a sample size of one pistol - with a statistically significant number of failures in 2000 rounds - does not mean that the brand as a whole is reliable.

  • @VuurwapenBlog maybe 1 failure a year shooting every week is not significant to me could the feed ramp and extractor be improved sure but taurus still makes handguns on par with s&w imo

  • why was that 1911 already cocked? not very good gun safety.

  • @woahcoolwaffles121 Cocked, uncocked, loaded, unloaded, partially disassembled, .45, .22, does not matter, treat every weapon as if it were loaded.

  • @VuurwapenBlog oh, trust me, i know that, it just bothered me that the first m1911 you showed was already cocked, whether or not it was loaded or not.

  • @woahcoolwaffles121 That's because I pulled it out of my holster to photograph it. Why a cocked firearm would bother you but an uncocked one wouldn't baffles me.

  • @woahcoolwaffles121 1911's are meant to be carried cocked and the vast majoraty of 1911 carriers carry cocked but you hardly ever hear of an AD from a 1911. it's usually a glock and it has no hammer to cock since it's striker fired. the 1911 sear is held captive by the thumb safety cam locking up the entire fire control group. even once the thumb safety is switched off, there is a grip safety lever that blocks the trigger bow much like a crossbolt safety on a hunting rifle. it's safe.

  • @TacticalTuckFard oh, ok. see, i dont know too much about the 1911...

  • @woahcoolwaffles121 don't sweat it. we all start somewhere. i thought the same thing when i was new to the 1911. every 1911 is unique because the parts have fitted to that specific gun. it's an easy design to learn, but difficult to master.

  • @TacticalTuckFard thanks for informing me. so it seems the saying, "you learn something new everyday" is true.

  • @woahcoolwaffles121 My Glock is always cocked.

  • @woahcoolwaffles121 If guns scare you that much i suggest you stay away from them.

  • @synn1980 they don't, i just didn't know that a 1911 was safe with the hammer cocked. im used to shooting glocks or other handguns that have an inner hammer. why don't you stop making assumptions?

  • @woahcoolwaffles121 It's safer than a glock.

  • @synn1980 so? did i ask? i don't remember saying that a glock was safer.

  • @woahcoolwaffles121 durrr durrr durrr

  • @woahcoolwaffles121 because anyone who knows how to PROPERLY use and operate a 1911, and has had PROPER training and EXPERIENCE with a 1911, knows that the safest and most reliable way to carry a 1911 is in the "Cocked and Locked" position. and when I say safest I mean when there would be a threat present

  • @xManjaro OK, OK OK ive already talked to two people, i dont need a third.

  • very nice video, good job

  • Unless it's like a 444 marlin BFR or something:-)

  • A 1911 is going to get you killed. *Every* 1911 is a jam-o-matic with non FMJ ammo. FACT.

  • @akompsupport

No, not a fact. I have a nice PT1911, which in the last approx 800 rds, has had no FTF or FTE despite the variety of ammo types I've been feeding it. Not what I'd call a "jam-o-matic"

  • Great educational vid. Keep 'em coming. Thanks!

  • I also hear instructors say "pick the largest caliber you can shoot the most accurate and fastest". Thats kind of a stupid statement...typically...the lager the caliber...that harder it is to shoot accurately and fast. For me personally...9mm 147gr hst, ranger t, or gold dot bonded for all around purposes. If i'm out in the woods with bears and wildcats...230gr +p hst, ranger t, or gold dot bonded. Another great video btw.

  • Great vid.

Vergunning krijgen is echter moeilijk. Het duurt 6 maanden plus background check voor je een vuurwapen mag kopen.

  • @Targa2Tasmania

    Welke stad woon je in?

  • @ERNurseCEN Antwerpen

  • @Targa2Tasmania

    Dank u.

  • @ERNurseCEN en U als ik het u mag vragen?

  • Thinkin of getting a Walther PPQ for carry, though I shoot 1911s better...

  • Outstanding, well done.

  • good video about concealed carry : ) thumbs up

  • There is nothing that you have to do with the 23 to make it reliable. Just remember that if you decide to use reloads for practice watch the pressure, and if you shoot lead keep your barrel clean. Other than that take a class on how to use your weapon if needed and practice, practice, practice. You have one of the top selling ccw guns in the nation.

  • another great well prepared video! i just moved to florida and i am looking into getting my ccw here. my dad passed a 3rd gen glock 23 on to me (hope i dont have problems with it haha) do you know anything in particular to avoid to prevent the kaboom in a .40 glock. thanks for your time

  • @1966pontiacpower Don't worry about kabooms. But I would avoid using a weapon mounted light. I would also make sure that I was using the newest magazine springs and followers - contact Glock to see what number they're up to now.

  • @VuurwapenBlog thanks for the info man!

  • I really want parts two and three to your "Why the AR-15 is good and why a good AR-15 is better" series.

  • @Nater245689 I'm continuing to gather necessary data for that.

  • If 3rd Gen Glocks in 40S&W have so many issues why do so many law enforcement agencies issue that weapon?

  • @TxSoldier77 LE agencies having massive problems with the Gen 3 .40 caused Glock to bury their head in the sand for a few years. Then they came out with the Gen 4.

  • @VuurwapenBlog What sort of issues were being reported enough to be considered "massive" problems?

  • @TxSoldier77 "The Planning and Research Unit was directed to conduct a survey to our 50 city contacts in regard to duty weapons and weapon mounted light systems authorized for carry. We received responses from 30 of the cities. From these 30 responses, 22 departments authorize the Glock Model 22 of which 11 report some type of problem."

From the thread "Glock's incompetence has lost our business" (a sizable LE agency's business, that is) on lightfighter.

  • THX !

  • This has been a big help, thanks alot and please keep em coming!

  • These videos are awesome

  • Your videos keep getting better and better. Keep up the good work.

  • @EscpdFrmPsykward Thanks!

  • Wow, that was awesome. Same method - more vids please.

  • Really good video. Had to chuckle when I saw the Liverpool FC shirt (as in, England has no self defense rights)...... Owen fan here as well!

  • Good video to forward onto friends who need a reality check.

    Nice work.

  • Great video! Really puts things into perspective.

  • gotta love Florida lol

  • Awesome video as always.

The medicine cabinet bit made me choke on my beer.

  • I love my Glock 26!

  • I live in a meh state, but should be in a bueno state soon. I can honestly say i learned some stuff. Also you said thanks for watching, I say thanks for making them.

  • poor illinois all alone

  • @MrLoveslittlekids I live in Illinois and it sucks having to go around without a concealed weapon. We are so lonely.

  • Another great video.

  • I just ordered a CZ P-01 that I plan on carrying

  • I have a gen 3 Glock in 40 S & W, and have had nothing but problems with it. Everyone keeps telling me how reliable Glocks are! Finally I hear different. Maybe I am not crazy after all!

  • Time is money...

  • Great job with the longer format. Very informative.

  • Love the animation - too bad I live in a meh state!

  • I live in indiana , have carried off/on for 10 years ,indiana passed lifetime carry licence for 120.00 . I was approached 1 time , and i had a gun , never had to fire he re-treated, luckily. I was in a jeep wrangler with top/doors off , lucky for me my glock was out open and loaded. Good video , but trust me carry condition 1 , i guarantee you wont have time to cycle slide . DONT CARRY ,if you are not comfy carried 1 in pipe, u are not really preppared.

  • Wait, hold on, you're not a girl? Damn.

Excellent video, those maps cracked me up. I hope you live in a "yay" or "bueno" state, I think you'd be very angry otherwise.
