funny that you commented on this, just the other day, i saw aamodts record, and i retract my statement, hes not that bad haha, i have a lot of newfound respect for him. yeah, stenmark, tomba and raich are some of my favorite skiers (raich isnt a great, but hes freaking good)
When our team used to watch ski events for lunch on sportsnet, we always muted the tv. An english announcer that's not european is guaranteed to have no idea what the hell he's talking about when it comes to this sport.
Occasionally Brian Stemmle guest announces, but then it's "Stemmle surrounded by bad commentary".

Herminator is great in the speed events. Tomba and Stenmark were technical champs. Bode is the best at both. Killyesque if you will.
