Beautiful! The intonation of this aria is very difficult in the passages with the jumps, as the attempts by some other singers unfortunately confirm, but one wouldn´t believe it if one hears only Solberg.

This Spanish period-instrument orchestra is absolutely wonderful- it ranks with the best of them. It's unfortunate though that the Handel CDs they have released so far have received less than wonderful reviews from the music magazines, mostly because of the singers rather than the terrific sound of the orchestra.
