@jesusflwr Hello there, I myself used to smoke marijuana and thought I was saved. I had a friend that insisted it was a sin and I did a deeper study on it. Here is what I found:
"Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:" (1 Peter 5:8). Use the KJV or the NKJV because a lot of translations out there are watered down and give off wrong ideas. I'm going to use one more scripture in my next comment.

@jesusflwr I cannot in good conscience call drug use 'holy' and 'righteous'. I believe you came to Christ, but have been bound by this sin. Don't be angry at me for calling it unholy but be angry at the Lord for making holiness His standard. I do not judge you, I have no anger at you or any pride or strife in me but to proclaim God's word in truth and not in perversion. I looked for excuses to continue in sin as a younger Christian but I could not, and I do not at all regret repenting.
@0591kevin Why do you consider Marijuana a drug? and "unHoly"?, didn't God create it?, it doesn't require any processing only drying. I do believe that it shouldn't be used everyday, but I am sure that it is not a sin to use it occasionally.

The Bible is clear on what sin is, and when we are confronted with something that convicts us, like I was of my sin, we make a choice to either repent or continue in sin. I looked high and low for reasons to keep my sin, yet even when I thought I found one, guilt remained. Eventually I repented and now I am free and am so happy to be free. You choose what you wish to do, whether remain in bondage or be set free.

@jesusflwr When I was first born again, I struggled with depression. I went to the doctor and he prescribed me antidepressants. They only made everything worse. I quit taking them and unexpectedly my depression was gone! This stunned the doctor because the drugs don't work like that. God had healed me.
Now I am completely content and joyful and happy in a perfect peace in the Holy Spirit, and no drug is necessary nor any stimulant. My sole joy now is complete humility and obedience to God.
@jesusflwr God's grace is sufficient. If we trust in Him, and seek Him with our whole hearts, putting to death our flesh and taking on the new man in Christ, we don't need these things that please the flesh but God's love is perfect peace and joy and love(Galatians 5:22).
