  • When I think of the Nazis who died in these tanks, I think they are as Edgar in KING LEAR describes Oswald:

"I know thee well: a serviceable villain,

As duteous to the vices of thy mistress

    As badness would desire."

No honour is due to one who fights well in an evil cause.

  • Don't let the the romance of their courage, driven from their desperation, blind us to the atrocities committed by most. "All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing"

  • Don't let the the romance of their courage driven, from their desperation, blind us to the atrocities committed by most. "All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing"

  • Achtung Panzer, Tiger, Tiger, Tiger, run for your lives.

  • Poor bastards.

  • Good target for Russian "IS-2" :)

  • @tanabar

The IS-2 was a good target for the King Tiger.503 and 503-SS were slaughtering T-34's and Josef Stalin tanks.

    Remember the slaughter at Bollersdorff!!!

  • @tanabar

    LoL

more IS was destroyed for Panthers and Tigers I and II

in the real Battles the Panther was the most common hunter for "IS"

like all Allied Tank Battles always was Panzer Quality vs Allied Superior Numbers.

in WW2 , 27 Allied Soldiers die in battle for 1 German and dont forget

many Germans die only for Allied Air Suport in Battle (=D)

But you can play "World of Tanks" on line and kill tons of German Tanks

with your favorite "Virtual Best Tank" and rewrites the History

  • @WoIfenkrieger Bullshit. You certainly werent killing 27 for 1 against western soldiers and the comment about air support just proves that the western allies used their brains. Your 27 for 1 comment also must include all the millions of Russion prisoners taken in the first 6 months of Barbarossa which you allowed to starve to death. Must make you feel proud im sure.

  • Panzerkampfwagen VII "Königstiger" Ausf. B Porsche turret

  • KASSEL!

  • YOUR A FUCKING NAZI GET OVER IT!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @HecTiikHD wat bisden du fürn vogel..?

  • fantastic collection. Ive never seen any of these before. Thanks.....

  • I've seen a lot of these photos.

  • german spirit

  • best tank of the war was figthing its last battle in the capital of the third reich those king tigers destroyed a lot of sovjet t34s and js2 and js 3 tanks. best tanks and tank commanders of all time let them rest in peace

  • @hardcorecrusher12

Js 3 was never used during ww2.

  • @Imppilz js-3 whas used in the battle of berlin 10 where figthing and 3 where in the tank reseves 4 js 3 where taked out by german tanks 2 where taked out by king tigers

  • @hardcorecrusher12

No. The IS-3 was not used in ww2. IS-3 was first used in combat in 1967.

  • @Imppilz in comat yes but they had them in 1950 in the Korean war but they never used them

  • @DaManzMoney

    This i think is correct.

  • @hardcorecrusher12 No the IS 3 they came to late to fight in Berlin but some older sources say it was used late in the war in Europe but there are no records to confirm it but 1 regiment may of used them agaianst the Japs in Manchuria in 45

  • @Imppilz yes the was a regeiment that may of had them to fight the Japs in Manchuria in 45 but there are no rocords

  • @DaManzMoney

Well there might be someone living on MArs, there just are no records. I base my knowledge on available sources.

  • Never seen these photos. Thank you.

  • Tiger 2 in Berlin with Japanese song...nice....never heard before

  • Fantastic! great Photographs 5/5

  • sometimes we do not understand the lose

  • Im german, anti-fashist and military fanatic... weird combo, i know.

Soldiers na do politics, nor tanks... in no possible view of things.

Beautifull collection of men and material, gramps drove a, i guess

"Luchs" as recon patrol in stalingrads perimeter... just mentioned they where equipped with "Vier- und Sechsachsern" (Four/Six axed tanks)... he did his job, for his family... and opposed fashism, for humanitys right on sapiens.

    Danke aus Stuttgart to Nihon.

  • Does anyone know what the tank strength of the German forces was during the Battle of Berlin? I've heard that there were a few dozen StuGs and stuff like that, but seeing a vid talking about KTs in action makes me doubtful of my knowledge. Anyone know?

  • Against overwhelming odds they stood their ground to the very last bullet.

    True Warriors indeed.

  • Love the background music.....the pics are very stirring....thank you.....

  • sucks to see those tigers get beat up like that.

  • @derrickislander indeed it does, thou we must take in consideration all the punishment they gave before going down.they were so outnumbered that no matter how good the machines or the crew were the outcome was going to be a that, they knew that yet they fought to the very end.

  • I never see any Elefant photos in Berlin. I know 7 of them survived to see the Battle of Berlin. All of which were serving in the Battle.

  • tiget tank in 1:06 has a wrong swastika :S

  • The schwere SS-Panzer-Abteilung 103/503 fought in Berlin, until they lost their last tank. Karl Körner and Karl Brommann were the aces of this tank unit. Rest In Peace!

  • Music of Porco Rosso XDDD

  • @scottduncan44: Your comments are from a country that practised slavery to the bitter end of a civil war that was the first industrial killing after committing genocide of tens of millions native populations of North America. More recently nuclear strikes on citiesm 1.6 million Vietnamese and 780,000 Iraqi dead, killed by American aggression and atrocities. According to your thesis, All Americans are "war criminals" and torturers in Guantanamo to some degree or other. Your thesis, right?

Doch unsere derzeitigen Politiker jeglicher couleur ziehen unsere schwer

    leidendenden Soldaten in den Dreck.

  • Originally the Waffen S was an all volunteer force at the later stages of the war it was made up of conscripts like any other unit. Political loyalty was part of its structure but not part of its reality.Ceratinly the earlier SS which were fanatical Nazis and war criminals should be judge as such. The Young men of the later period may have been.

  • look, these were children straight out of school, never having done duty in the camps, but simply doing their duty as defenders of the country

all the old schoolers were long since dead on the steppes..

Stalin liquidated millions of his own people with forced starvation what was their crime??.

the lads here did their best against overwhelming odds to protect the innocents of Germany..for most their reward was at best a quick death..........yes heroes all..

  • @pzgdr - Actually, yes we do need to ask why the forces of utter cruelty, murder, rape, death, killing and evil, could ever, in anyone's wildest imagination, ever be considered, "hero's". Well, I'll add, by any *normal* person anyway. :)

  • by that stage of the war the crews of those tanks were litle more than school children, who were fighting a foe who were subhuman in their treatment of innocent civilians..read about the russian troops who routinely raped little girls and old women before killing them..google nemmersdorf for one example..

  • It is true that the Soviets used Mongols as storm troops but what is the excuse for the so called civilized Germans murdering millions of Soviet POW's? The only honorable germans left Germany rather than being part of the Nazi regime. All others were war criminals to one degree or another.

  • @koelschwolf - Why on one hand would slave labor be used to manufacture the tank, but then on the other hand someone would be paid a carton of cigarettes to drive the tank to the front lines? Makes no sense.

  • @RenegadeXS - I'm afraid it wasn't the whole British fleet that sunk the Bismark. The Bismark was hunted down and stopped from cowardly running away from a fight with the British navy by a one, very old and obsolete WWI torpedo bomber.

  • Real nice tribute to these fighting men! Wunderbar!

  • They fought like man and died like man...

  • Thanks.

  • @gamemakerman100 - How does a man fight and die any differently than anyone else? We all bleed, then we die. But before they died, they behaved as animals, supporting an utterly evil, mad man, murdering millions of people. Sick.

  • @gamemakerman100 yes, tell us all about it. you seem to have been there. you survived it all, my hat is off to you, hero.

  • Thank you for comment.

  • Danke!

  • I am the opinion that is totally reverse to you.

  • Wonderful pictures! Thanks for this! Please, can you tell me the name of song and singer? :o)

    greetings from germany!

  • Thank You!

  • always read the video info :) "BGM:"Let's tell a story old at times"1987 Song by Tokiko Kato" jagdpanthers are my favorites but I also like the rest of the german ww2 tanks, they were too good :D

  • @unurautare - German tanks, particularly the Tiger and especially the King Tiger were crippled with serious mechanical reliability issues. The book, "Tigers in Combat", documents that the King Tiger was so plagued with mechanical problems that most of them never saw combat. Myths/propaganda sometimes die hard.

  • @Echeque5 the 503 SS Heavy tank battalion had an average kill ratio of over 5 to 1. so id say your facts are wrong. yes they where big and broke down alot. but in defense they did very well. Including Berlin where 2 503 KTs took out 102 soviet tanks in 2 days.

  • absoluty great vid..really..music fits perfect;)

  • Sorry, bad explanation! "Nachbarschaft" (neighbourhood) and "Nähe" (vicinity) are not the same in German. ;)

  • I'm Sorry! Thanks!!

  • Very interesting pictures! I think you mixed up "Nachbarschaft" with "in der Nähe von". Not "Die Nachbarschaft von Kassel", but "In der Nähe von Kassel". Sorry, I don't want to teach you, it's just a hint... ;)

  • Thank you for kindly teaching!
