For the most historic event in American presidential oaths this is a "black mark" on his beginnings and the blame goes to Roberts for not reading it correctly. 150mil inauguration and they screw up the most important part. Corruption. Absolute corruption.

Roberts messed up and Obama paused to let him get it correct, but then, decided to go ahead and say it as Roberts said it. Obama said he will preserve, protect and defend the constituition. That is the important part anyway. Roberts should read it if he can't remember it correctly.

Both screwed up First, Obama jumped the gun and began speaking before Roberts had finished. Then Roberts omitted the word "faithfully", then added it out of place. Then Obama, started to repeat the incorrect phrasing, hesitated for a moment, and then Roberts tried to correct himself while Obama continued so that they both stumbled through that part. Finally at the end Roberts incorrectly added "So help me God" and Obama followed suit. Where oh where is Jimmy Carter when you need him?
