To Kateo2006 I bet just about everyone listening to this has at least one cd, or has some of the music on itunes. You should think about what your saying to everyone. Some people like the music and to make videos, and there is nothing wrong with listening to music on youtube! Its handy when your at a friends house, so you can share the music... its handy at a party where you dont have your cds or itunes! And darren doesnt mind its limewire and shit he doesnt like.

There was someone wanting someone to send them the mp3 and when I suggested they support independant artists and actually buy it they gave the excuse of "it's just one song" and "I'm a poor student". I was never having a go at people listening to songs on youtube, hell I'm here heaps. It was all about sharing music, on limewire and other share sites.

@funkandskunk The footage is from his Too Close For Comfort tour in 2002. There's a DVD of the same name, that this footage is from. He had a cameraman follow him around behind the scenes, showing a lot of the fun but also some of the darker moments.

Seriously though, think about it before you steal music, because even someone like Darren can't forever continue to bring music to us, and especially to tour, if everyone expects it for nothing. I know it's hard when it's out there for free, but it's not like it's a lot of money. Not necessarily about his homosexuality even though it was no doubt about a guy, it's about a relationship that failed. Darren has said he wrote this as a letter to his ex, but never sent it. It was cathartic for him to write it and to turn it into a song. It IS powerful and beautiful.
