I dont get why everyone is this pissed about KH3 not being out yet. They're building it up and releasing games that ARE important to the plot may I add. They're trying to get this game hinted up to so that when its finally released, OUR MINDS WILL BE BLOWN! I loved all these games and their storys. Especially KH 358/2 days and BBS. They were all awesome, and the story is adding up, which makes me super excited for when KH3 comes out. See, it works ;)

I've played : KH 1 (Final Mix on friend's PS2), KH 2, 358/2 Days, BBS, and Re:Coded.

I'm not even going to get Dream Drop Distance because I'm not buying a 3DS. But I think Square should realize, we get it, just like every other elongated RPG-style game, the characters all have some past they want us to first go through like 10 times before they continue the game.

BBS was the story of people who are going to be MAIN CHARACTERS in KH3, so we got to know them instead of wondering "Who the F are these people?" 358/2 days was just to get to know Roxas and the Organization. Kh 3D is LEADING UP to KH3. They werent spin offs, nor just Past things. They're important to this thing called 'Story" And so far, its Brilliantly complex and deep because of these games.

Jared, don't put down Kingdom Hearts. It's actually a good series, and the story is just deep.

First game, introduce concept and story.

Second game, go deeper and introduce new elements.

Chain of Memories, bridge gaps and explain certain elements.

358/2 Days, explain how the other half fight and bridge more gaps.

Birth By Sleep, add development to the world and give origin stories.

Coded, give a new outlook on the cosmology of the game.

3D, give TWEWY a product plug and add another outlook.

Square Enix has stated they will be making kh3. That's all they've said. There's no general release date as of yet or anything. But it will most likely be next year, after 3dDDD. Now shut up, fanboys. :3

These other Kingdom Hearts games are actually not spin offs. If you actually paid attention to the incredibly complex story, which is one of my favorite parts, they give the franchise such an insane level of story depth that to suggest that they don't hold value or detract from the "core" titles is ridiculous. Actually, Kingdom Hearts 3 is going to be the ending of the Xehanort Saga, not the Kingdom Hearts Saga... All of the games have been focusing on Xehanort's story, but after KH3 there is going to be a different main story. But seriously Square, I am done with these non-main games... KH3D looks awesome, but I still have not beaten Coded and I am not planning to since it isn't really that fun. Also, KH3 on the 360/Microsoft's next console please? :D
