Conrad Murray was not charged with murder, he was charged with involuntary manslaughter and given the maximum sentence possible for that crime - 4 years.
I can not believe that court case with judge, lawyers (that must have cost a fortune) and witnesses would sit almost every day for for 6 weeks if it was just a hoax.
