It's the Tekken notation, which was originally made before it came to the consoles(the arcades). f,b,u,d, u/f,d/b etc. are forward,back,up,down,up/forwar­d,down/back etc... 1,2,3,4 are LP(square),RP(triangle),LK(X) and RK(circle). qcf and qcb are quarter circle forward/backward. Hey man nice video. Do you by any chance know how to do the grab by King where he picks you up by your feet and swings you around for a while & then throws you away? It takes about half the opponent's health? I really want to know & it's not on the command list.

@Dools289 oh i knw wht ur talking to. it depends on which tekken you play as far as i knw it should be on tekken 4 and 5, i dont knw abt tekken 6. i think the moves name is swing throw or something like that. i do that every time and yes it does take alot of life. i recommend looking for that move between the moves 80-110 am sure you find it there

there r 2 sections to it press front this is the frist section the 2nd section isa big press back then down then its down and back togther then its down alone then its down and front togther with square to finish it.

in other words u just press front first then u just slide ur finger from back to th front front making sure u cover all the command it will take u time to learn as u dont have the buttons. i recommend to look for the buttons on the internet.

king is my favorite character, he is the most fun. i can do some chain grapples... ive pulled some of in a match... other players under estimate king and they thing i will just grab. that is why it is best to grab in combos and use kings unblockable power attacks they are pretty fast and go pretty far.

@MadGolfBall well grapple combos only won't help you...I play with king and know some grapple combos but I only use a few in a match, cause they can be so hard to pull of, and if u make a mistake u can get punished badly...it's good to know, but the top players can get out of them easily...I came from Tekken 2 in 97 and used to do all the moves, 4got a lot but they're comning back, a lot of ppl call me newbie when I pull off 10 hits combos...I do some juggle ones now too, King's awesome...badass

To "hellkjd1221" The easy way to do this is to think of pressing ffF 2+4, make sure you press the 'f' really fast and then hold the F then press 2+4, this should then perform a iSW. Goodluck

@thclover you have to do it quick, after you hit the 2 f while the opponents legs are inn the air,try pressing the last f -2+4 together or as fast as you can then THE BEST MOMENT OF YOUR LIFE HAPPENS, you give the opponent AN !#%(#¤?¤!¤"T"¤!%"%= inn his ASS king is pure nature :'(

@thclover 1st of all theres a thing called buffering.. on the last hit before you execute the grab.. tap forward 1 right after the bounce hits... then just tap 2 two more times to make it easier.. i found it out myself

Basically after B!(the opponent is on the ground with legs up in the air, and you can move) you input f ,f, f+2+4 mash the forward as fast as you can. (so before the legs fall to the ground King runs up and the Power Bomb happens, and you shout take that b*atch!

If you can master King's arial grabs then they add up roughly to the same damage as these arial combos and there a lot simpler (I too am a King player)

@AJDaEnvoy actaully they can be quite useful. and the places with people can break out of kings grabs can be performed 2 ways so press square or triangle always will only get you out 1/2 the time. depending on the king player and how well he mixes it up

I think this should work with king and with all characters with isw (air grab), simply tap ff (N) f+2+4. the neutral part is somewhat tricky because the timing has to be near perfect. You'll see what I mean when you try using it in practice

I can do the f,f,f+2+4 on a d-pad controller, trust me it's all in the timing. Usually you can get in one of the f's just at the the end of the last move, so you can do the other two ffs easier after, but then again I'm probably not making much sense here lol

the easiest way 2 pull kings fff 2+4 is to pre hold 2 after the last hit at b 1+2 then make him run but this must all be fast!! like right after b 1+2 i wouldnt bother with tht combo it needs 2 much accuracy id just do f 2+3 or df3,4 to lead up to wall splat

tekken isnt like sf that has high kick medium kick and low kick. 4 is suppose to be for O, 3 is for X, 2 is for triangle, and 1 is for square.  WS is suppose to mean while standing from crouching. F obviously means forward then D is down and etc. Hope that helps.

I have done it about 30% at the arcades (Not my main), the notation is f,f,f+2+4. And lemme repeat one part, f+2+4 needs to be done correctly, pressing forward and 2+4 at the same time. Doing f,f,f,2+4 will come out as the whip which will whiff on bounce unless W!. You can also pause in the f,f,f part because the timing is less strict cause of bound (f,n,f,f or f,f,n,f). Lastly, you can input 1 command before the initial move during the move before it.

Thanks man, you're a big help. Now I can do the f,f,f+2+4. Now then, performing it on someone like Xiaoyu (if thats how you spell her name) now thats a challenge because of her small size.

And for those of you that are struggling with it, practice on someone big like Jack- 6 as the timings for landing the mid-air grab are more forgiving against bigger characters.

i usually iSW by pre-holding 2. i mean hold 2 then just fff+4.

for example in juggles i do:

- b+2,1+2 B! iSW = b+2 (keep holding 2) 1 B! fff+4

- f+222 B! iSW = f+222 (keep holding 2) fff+4

this should improve your success rate, it prevents u from doing unwanted moves like f+4.

and one thing, B! iSW and 1 iSW have different timings of fff+2+4. The timing of pressing FFF is different

- B! iSW is like tap,tap,tap

and

- 1 iSW is like tap,ta~tap

take note, only the first 'f' is bufferable.
