Do the bats look any more realistic in the actual game? So far, that's the only part of the entire demo I've seen that looks even slightly phony. The poor things don't even look 75% complete.

@lfnsafun No this was built for the demo. This would be to high of a level for beginning players (because this is at the beginning of the game obviously). Bandit Marauders, trolls and even he dragon at the beginning were placed there to make an interesting and diverse demo. But would be suicide to try early in the game.

@dalijkffplaggaslaan It's not like they saw bioshock and were like "ZOMG TOD, LET'S DO THAAAAT!!" it was lightly implemented on oblivion anyway, they just made it more challenging by and interesting on skyrim, by allowing you to only use a spell in a hand instead a shield, weapon, and spell.

This is so good. I just can't wait. There's only one thing that bothers me: should I get the pc version or the Xbox one? I think that my pc could be able to run it, but on Xbox it would run so much better. Still, I remember all the mods for Oblivion and Morrowind on pc, something that I will never get on 360. I'm so glad they took out major and minor skills. It really restricted what you could potentially do with a character in Oblivion. This way, I can focus on any form of combat and level up regardless of my decisions. Each class of magic all seem to have very useful spells, which will make magic actually worth doing in Skyrim. And WOW. There are over 150 dungeons in the game, and none of them are rehashes of other dungeons like in Oblivion? And puzzle-solving? Dragon shouts? This is my GotY.

I really enjoy the effor tthey've made on the visual bit, the game looks fantastic. However, they still fail to make it look realistic (as with all other TES games). In this video, I'm bothered by the AI behavior. Why do the skeletons rise up in a very relaxed way, only to charge ferociously once they have taken their three seconds break? And how fucking hard can it be to guess at least the general direction an arrow comes from when someone right in front of you get hit, and take cover? =_=

I play RPG's to live out fantasies; The purpose of a good RPG is to create an illusion that it is real, allowing us to pretend it is. That's why those kind of details piss me off. I'm so glad they took out major and minor skills. It really restricted what you could potentially do with a character in Oblivion. This way, I can focus on any form of combat and level up regardless of my decisions. Each class of magic all seem to have very useful spells, which will make magic actually worth doing in Skyrim. And WOW. There are over 150 dungeons in the game, and none of them are rehashes of other dungeons like in Oblivion? And puzzle-solving? Dragon shouts? This is my GotY.

These Dungeons look like they will be a pleasure to explore. To me Oblivions dungeons were quite dull and boring. I Can't wait for Skyrim!

I really enjoy the effor tthey've made on the visual bit, the game looks fantastic. However, they still fail to make it look realistic (as with all other TES games). In this video, I'm bothered by the AI behavior. Why do the skeletons rise up in a very relaxed way, only to charge ferociously once they have taken their three seconds break? And how fucking hard can it be to guess at least the general direction an arrow comes from when someone right in front of you get hit, and take cover? =_=

@Wolham You want realistic? Go enjoy real life. Nothings perfect when making a game. But you do have a point. I agree with you on that. The AI could have taken cover.

@MrChrisrwwatts I'm sorry, but I can't go chopping up people in real life. I play RPG's to live out fantasies; The purpose of a good RPG is to create an illusion that it is real, allowing us to pretend it is. That's why those kind of details piss me off. Though I guess just like with all other TES games, once I get into the game I stop thinking about those details.
