another interpretation is how he is drifting thru his life day to day..

suffocated by the routines..that arent HIM.

each day is the same day...and he looks out the office window at life ...

he hears the music...comes back to life..feels life...wakes up to life again..and to himself!

a breakup...you missing her..and then at the end..you realize how much you miss her and run and run to get back to her..and then you come back to life..
