This was a very beautiful, well-said and easy to listen to presentation. May Allah bless you in your endeavours and be pleased with your efforts, Inshallah.
Take good advice and understanding from this presentation, it has some very good points which allow us to examine ourselves as to the very nature and core of our being.
Too bad a story is all it ever will be. I am absolutely fed up with Islam and cannot practice it any longer. This religion is enslavement, I am never comfortable practicing it.
@Salger12 Islam is the way the way of life; if u want to have a better life, practice Islam. It is up to you whether you want to practice it or not, for Islam is not a religion that forces its believers. But the choices that you made will determine your place in life after death. May ALLAH shower you with His guidance.
@cutieluvmin No, I do not feel it makes my life better. I have done my research and come across a religion that scares its followers into believing. You should do some more research yourself.
@Salger12 Really? So you feel better doing what disbelievers do? I'm a muslim because I want to be loved by our Creator and not disliked. Why do something which is bad for yourself? I guess you have never been a muslim. Why do you even come here and comment? I'm not scared into believing. Islam is by option not force. I could ask you to explain why thousands of people convert to Islam, but I won't. Have a nice day and good luck - especially after death.
ur right in what ur saying uptil the last sentence.dont be harsh on people and decide on their Hereafter. instead u must be gentle and pray that those among muslims with weak emaan, may Allah (SWT) grant them stronger faith.ameen
The recitiar is saad al ghamadi. You can hear him on youtube or open Quran expolorer and hear it there. Also, if you have an iphone/ipad the Al Quran app has him as one of the recitors. Hope this helped. Make dua'aa for me.
I haven't watched the other lectures by him of other prophets, so this doesn't apply to them, but I'v heard the story of Adam quite differently from scholars and other qualified individuals. My beef with this explanation is that by the time you're 20 minutes into it, you realize he's telling something which is practically the problematic Christian version of events, the original sin, the blame on Eve, that the couple were sent down as a punishment. It wasn't so. That was simply the first test.
to hwydaddy: do you believe that Allah has already appointed the time & day of judgement? The time and date of your death? To "BE" came at an appointed time and day...after all before was prepared for life. To "DIE" comes at an appointed time and day after life. Thank-you for your comment.
Thank you for sharing your opinion as how mankind was created and and its inhabitants. I respectfully disagree with your explainable version of this great creation. Allah created man not in many stages but on one call to creation, and with the Jinn and Women. The Earth was only the great creation, created in many stages. Thank you for allowing me to share this with you. The Word "BE" is clear.
@akiru91 Al-Laah is most Wise..he already knew that adam (AS) was gna eat it..Al-Laah could have just have put some of us in hell and some of us in heaven without us even living on earth..but the ones who would be in hell would have cried out our Lord you have treated us unjustly..the tree is like anything else Al-Laah forbids us..he doesn't need a reason really..he just has to forbid it that's it.He created man only to serve/worship him.
is it sufficent to say you believe and will not be tested in that.
its like a friend he cannot just be loyal without proving that he is loyal.
also try not to listen to the shaytan, who puts doubt in our minds, he is teling you these things and making you question and this puts alot of doubt, we should look at the proofs of Allah and islam and be content and fear the day our soul will leave our bodys heavy, with our loved one washing this empty body.
is it sufficent to say you believe and will not be tested in that.

@akiru91 Like brother khalifahklothing said, it was a test for Him. Allah tested the shaytan, this became in itself a test for adam en now for us all. Allah is the all wise, his knowledge is so wide we can't mention.
Say Allah is the creator of every thing, and he is All knowing, it may sound funny of a tree! but Allah made it a law for them, now Allah made laws for u! and made sciene, to witness the Quran Allah's Miracle. so, Submit ur will completely to Allah, and don't mix the Command of Allah and Muhammad with commands of any one and with ur desires... if u wan't heaven ! and the Right Path.
Biggest Sin
Sirk=mixing any thing with any 99 labels of Allah , (for example Hakim, Hazir, Nazir, malik)
It was a test for him, like this life is a test for us full of temptation but the point is even if its one temptation or a thousand temptations that are put infront of us and not allowed for us to have or do, we follow Allah (God) and his word. Those that follow Allah and his word will get heaven as a prize, but those that ignore the word of God and do the things he warned us not to then we are sent to hell depending on how God judges us and what our deeds are like.
@akiru91 its a test, and Adam failed it, nevertheless he repented and God forgave him. The story has many lessons to mankind. Humans are week in the face of temptation, but when we make mistakes God is all forgiving and his mercy transcends our imperfections. Repentance is the key to forgiveness.
can you imagine that we ALL come from one man, our father Adam? i wish i could meet him and our mother Hawa, Wallahi i would kiss them both on the forehead.
This brother mentions that there was a talk before this one where he talks about life before Adam (pbuh). Can someone please tell me how I can watch that?
@ibthemaster Salamalaikum - it's not on khalifahklothing's list but I think this is the first of 3 lectures you are looking for - these are from before the one about Adam. Copy and paste the link and add the youtube address before the slash.
can someone explain the hadith at 41:15, where the Sheikh mentions that "adam denied and forgot, and ever since then, his descendants have been denying and forgetting". in adam's (pbuh) case, it's about him giving 40 years of his life to Dawud (pbuh), but how does this relate to his descendants?
From what I can gather with my little knowledge I think he's making reference to the fact that all of mankind seem to "deny" and forget that they have to die one day. If we truly did dwell on the fact that we have to die (as Adam a.s was said to have) then we wouldn't live our lives carefree and happy as we do. If we're in constant rememberence of death then we'll also be in constant rememberence of Allah - love for Him, fear of His punishment and hope of His forgiveness.
alhamdulillah for this enlightening and entertaining lecture, inshAllah we will act upon this knowledge. inshAllah we will give the extra effort to learn from this knowledge during this blessed month of Ramadan. Salaam-u-alikum

I'm sry to ask this guys. But why was that tree that Allah mention to Adam, the only tree that can't be eaten? Why? I don't get it..
Since Allah created everything that was for Adam, why was the tree the only thing that Adam cannot laid his hands on.
