I used to wear sissy pants when it came to horror movies, but when the remake came out my friend wouldnt let me see it untill i saw the original so...the night we decided to watch the original her husband thought it a great idea to start up the chain saw and run around the bedroom. jokes on him cauz i spilled my drink in his bed ha ha ha. any way we ran out the next day and saw the remake . I loved it as well, then continued a chainsaw marathon and got my hands on everyone made except this one

i love the original,it's just campy as hell and a great view for the halloween season...i also think the remakes way underrated,there's more detail in the remake,alas the original is way more eerie, watching it in the dark.

I did like this movie more than the average slasher but it did have it's problems. I'm surprised you didn't make much mention of R. Lee Ermey. His role was good and he could arguably be the head bad guy of the movie.

Did not like the remake. It wasn't bad..just not.. gripping, not dark enough. Lets just say I agree with Pancakehead.

ha, putting spoilers in is a pretty good idea, because people who have watched the film will get a deeper review, and the people who haven't watched it, will be compelled to return to the video after watching the film, to get the additional review they skipped.

Man, LE Copy? I'm a huge Horror Guru. I've watched over 1000's of Horror movies. I got the Unrated Versions of TCM2, I got TC1,2,3,NG, And then the re-make Origins, not The one with Jessica Biel. =( Didn't have a DVD player then.

Chainsaw ale looks awesome lol. The original 1974 film was a masterpiece like Halloween 1978 and Friday the 13th 1980. Yes I am old being at 40 yrs old but I love the originals lol. I wanna be in on the contest.
