@MagitekElite I think the "Tri-Edge" thing is a nod to the XXXX manga, when Aura upgraded Kite and he looked and fought nearly exactly like Azure Kite. The pose after the initial attack is exactly the same (Crouched down with the blades in front of him and his arms crossed). If you don't believe me, check the .hack Wikia.

I think they totally fucked up the battling part. I mean its totally cheap when you break the enemy then do the baseball crap. The enemy is totally helpless and there should have been more than 1 way to kill the enemy. They should at least make the enemy mega strong like if it lands an attack it would half your HP. Like the old .hack games, you totally had to go all out on somebody like Skeith, like using magic, boosts, and/or the multiple skills.

Though after going through this process, I realized that you can't actually change Tokio's weapons, only everyone else's :3

Are you Blind? That is Skeith the first of the cursed wave. You may nto know it cuase you never watch the anime "signs" or played the first four games or read the manag. But the one from Gu isn't the oirginal Skeith. true that they are both Skeith. This one is the poriginal one and the one that was spoken of in the book of twilight as the forebeaer of the cursed wave.

When you unlock the serpent of lore on the grand whale(it has a snake symbol) you go there, select the first option and the characters you have there will be upgradeable with virus cores.
