  • my home is Hungary. The cars have 1.9 or 2.5 ccm and eats 5-6 L diesel / 100 km (Volkswagen golf/passat Audi or Mercedes Benz)

the petrol cars eat 8-10 L / 100 km, this is not good but better than american cars, these eat 20-25 L petrol... and USA does not have a lot of diesel...

And Mercedes Benz (1980-1995) eat 100% grill oil.. and not damaged

American people buy more diesel cars!!!!

    (sorry i cant speak english)

  • It takes 55 drums of oil to build a car..i think you folks are saving the planet.JC

  • I'm still waiting for them to come out with they plug-in biodiesel prius...

  • New fuel!!!

    a very interesting video!

    Petrol made from garbage!!!

OLD GIANTS ARE AFRAID OF CHANGE

energy is decentralized and nowadays many people get their own energy, showing us how will be the future

The global network "Internet" has changed the way people interact with information

Now, the change is coming to the energy industry

    Cordial regards:

    Francisco Angulo

  • putting Bio-D in a w123 MB will kill it unless you upgrade all the seel and gaskets in the Injection pump as well as upgrade all the fuel hoses.

it's better to install a WVO / SVO system and burn Veggie oil.

good people with not enough knowledge doing bad things.

dose anybody wonder where the waste product from bio-D goes? it's Methoxide. nasty stuff! look it up.

  • Not True I've been using Bio-D in my MB 240 D without any negative effects and I know others who have been using Bio-D for great lengths of time in their vehicles without issue. But you are right that it is better to use WVO/SVO.

  • amazing ^-^

  • I like those German cars that are built like bank vaults. Even better if I can call it 'sustainable' ;)

  • German cars oh wow , im impressed

  • Why do you have a SUV that needlessly consumes more energy and then use biodiesel which reduces emissions. You're defeating the point of using a cleaner fuel by using more of it.

  • nice benz wow my caddy really sucks up the gas

  • if this bio deisel becomes popular the prices will drop from compition just like gas,

  • huh??? Gas prices have dropped? Wow where do you live? Here there are dozens of competing companies and the prices haven't dropped. And I don't think BioDiesel prices will drop all that much either unless it is THE fuel of the future; meaning no hybrids, no ethanol, etc.

  • I'm for ethanol from cellulose myself. The figures you see on ethanol not being viable in large quantities is from starch ethanol, not cellulose. Bio diesel is a great fuel too though.

  • forget about paying $3.43 for biodiesel. just put straight vegetable oil in

  • Man only contributes 4% of the co2 the rest is from the planets water! I don't see a problem. In the past 100yrs the planet has heated up 1/2 of 1 degree. If we follow Al Gore's plan we can bring down the temp.7/100 of 1 degree every 50 years. GIVE ME A BREAK!!!!!!!!

  • wait, what? Is there an actual source you're quoting here?

  • Google global warming fact or fiction.

There is all kinds of info out there.Dozens of sites to look at. Educate yourself, stop letting people spoonfeed you what they want you to believe.

  • Ok #1. There is no carbon in water you idiot. H20... think about it... I sure con't see a C anywhere in H20...

#2 The carbon we introduce was not part of the carbon cycle before. All of the carbon in fossil fuels was underground and out of the carbon cycle until we pumped it up and burned it. This is how the CO2 level rises. Thats why I support ethanol. Yes it produces CO2, but that CO2 was CO2 before the ethanol was made. Zero net change!

  • Note the very last second.

    Unleaded Premium: $2.83

    Bio Diesel: $3.43

Just another reason why I'm NOT living a zero carbon lifestyle. When you can make cars that perform that run on alternative fuels that are affordable - I'm all in. Until then, I'll keep driving my Z4 taking premuim fuel.

  • Very True.

  • yes, it is more expensive. but you don't consume as much. still, beats gas.

  • My 240D did not see ANY improvement in economy when I ran BioDiesel. 28mpg on #2, 28mpg on bio. Financially I'm stickin' with the regular ULSD...

  • Well why don't you just not buy a Z4? That'll save you about $50,000 (depending on model or whatever) - that's about 8,300 litres of biodiesel instead of petrol you can buy.
