So again, the SERIES, not THIS GAME, in my OPINION should not be called Legend of Zelda when she takes a back seat in every game she's ever been in 'side wind waker and even then once she switched from Tetra to zelda she lost all reason to exist other than being the damsel in distress which there's nothing more annoying then saving someone who is helpless and worthless unless you plan to get laid at the end. A better name for the series would be Legends of Hyrule but nintendo is full of retards.

I just started playing the zelda games recently... Finished ocarina of time last week and got it in my head that id never play a game as good again cuase it was nearly flawless. That ending, seeing link put back the master sword and navi flying away, made me sad...

In the beginning it seems like they were going for a Link/Ilia relationship, then they go into a Link/Midna one. I thought that was more interesting, and was a little bummed when they brought back Ilia quite a bit. But then, this ending brough the relationship full circle, almost removing Zelda from the entire equation!

I always hate endings like these. They make you spend an entire game, slowly growing to like a character duo, watching them get to know each other and begin to grow as friends before taking them away at the very end. It was an awesome battle but a sad ending to know we'll never see Midna again. One of the few characters I like in this series. (btw, why is is called Legend of Zelda if the game focuses on Link? Always been curious cuz she seems more of a side/background character to me)

For the first time I see Link really moved by his love about someone. I don't think there's going to be a sequel, so the odds say we will not see Midna again. The point of the ending was not that Midna just left.It was a proof that Midna was the true ruler of Twilight,as a result she could break the Mirror of Twilight.She destroyed it but I don't get the reason.These worlds can exist together,she was the one who said that Zelda was right.'One can't exist without the other'.Their different worlds but that doesn't mean they can't exist together,that was Midna's mistake.The ending was terribly sad,Nintendo should make better endings on it games
