  • Quicksand was one of my favorite bands in the nineties. I wish they made more albums before splitting. Fortunately I got to see them 3 times live before they were no more.

  • Please get rid of these dumb adverts that are louder than the actual songs

  • Greatest band out of the 90s . So many bands should be thankful for quicksand. Walter is a genious. Amazing voice - writing. TC - Sergio - Alan "amazing" drummer. Pay your respects and know alot of the bands out today would not be here if it wasn't for quicksand.

  • Vega. Fucking auto-correct.

  • @kajukenbo071 unrelated as fuck, not to mention late, but Kajukenbo is fucking great :)

  • Sergio Began is in the Deftones. Dickhead. Everything is a copy of a copy.

  • i agree this band should be drawing royalitys from every copycat band out ther including the Deftones!!! no one can even pale in comparison to these legends

  • @Jpanetta Deftones were before Quicksand?

  • @CirtLok you better do some fact checking there bub

  • @Jpanetta Deftones formed in 1988. Quicksand in 1990. Although you might be right in one sense. Deftones did not release their first album until 1995, Quicksand in 1993. Quicksand had also released EPs before hand.

I don't however think that Deftones ripped off Quicksand too much. The bands to me have completely different sounds anyways.

  • Them being from NYC, and The Movielife being from LI. You can tell Quicksand influenced them....they sound so similar. I remember back on when 104.3 had a modern rock format they played bands like this all day...Smile, The Toadies, and the whole Crow soundtrack...

  • @hockeyprofit19 Pure Rock 104.3 and 89.5 SOU played great stuff back then too. Now you gotta go on the cpu to find new music... Sucks

  • Shame they never made any more albums, they were a truly great band.

  • Reminds me of TOOL and NoMeansNo. I like it a loooooot.

  • got here from the deftones.

cool. their bassist in their later albums is now the bassist for deftones.

  • This band should be getting checks from every band that's made money off their

style. They should have kept going!!!!!

  • if only they would have made a third album.. or a fourth.. ahh.. I loved this band so much.

  • i wouldn't say grunge, but seems based off late dischord ,reminds me of hoover and bluetip, early fugazi ,I love this shit

Gb,and youth of today are pretty cool

  • My age doesn´t matter motherfucker!!! You can eat some shit of Alice In Chains.

  • great fucking band

  • anyone heard of janes addiction

  • @astrox13 hell ya! im a big perry farrel fan..heard any porno for pyros? check it out!

  • @astrox13 Yeah, they don't sound anything like Quicksand.

  • deftones, tool, quicksand: Evolution of grunge

  • @TheNaturalCristu wrong more like the Evolution of Post Hardcore, these guys were from the NY Hardcore scene

  • @Mahmood42978 What you want to explain me when you say that these guys were from the NY Hardcore scene??? That shit have more influences of Seattle Grunge than a NY HxC scene. Its simple. Listen to the guitar melodies and vocals.

P.D: Escuse me, but my english isn´t good yet.

  • @TheNaturalCristu well these guys are members of Gorilla Biscuits, Youth of Today and Bold, and I don't hear much grunge in this, it reminds me of what a lot of hardcore bands who stopped playing hardcore were doing in that era

  • @TheNaturalCristu what a crock of shit. I'll let you slide if your under 25.

  • i remember watching this on MTV's 120 Minutes.

  • Quicksand was a band ahead of it's time. Musically they had just as much potential as bands like Tool, but they just had too small of a following to keep going. Loved these guys, wish they could've stuck around.

  • @OvergroundComics My buddy just turned me onto this band....cant believe I missed them being such a huge fan of th 90's style like this....but he told me that the creator of this band only forms a project for 2 albums and moves on...just thought you might find that interesting

  • @OvergroundComics That's not necessarily a bad thing.

  • bizare mais bon

  • i had to order this . i heard it on the radio, but the stations didnt play it.
