  • This is a very amusing interview but it's also quite frightening because it's an extreme example of what can happen in many other places.

  • Greece is a shithole third world country with first world appetites for salaries.

They have a third world level of production and first world salaries.

Something has to give. The Germans and French want their money back for loaning so much to Greece.

The Greeks don't want to pay it back because they like getting paid top salaries, retiring at 50, etc on German and French money.

This will end in default with the Germans and French banks getting fucked and Greece out of the Euro. Watch.

  • lets face it greece ran away from privitixation investment taxes evertything that makes money and a country grow greece lacks, connections with outside world good educational system, production gov that fights anything that works in modern soxiety while keeping a country clorrupt and stale for decades, this is true not only for greece but my country the diff is that here we admit it the greeks fight others to defend their non functional way of life

  • Another moron that completely ignores the prime REAL reasons - ONCE AGAIN: Goldman Sachs, military budget, European banksters, German low wages, the Euro, the superrich, Greek government, etc. etc. etc.

Austerity is a joke. Anyone promoting it needs to learn basic math, basic economics, basic ethics, basic logic.

  • I hate it when the fucken dumbass won't let the guy talk

  • too much goverment, plain and simple. bureaucrats stole money from savers. they were like obama on steroids.

  • You people are insane. Its the government that did this. The greeks should live whatever lifestyle they find accordingly. They don't need a bailouts from Germany or France. Neither Charlie or this dude has mentioned Goldman Sachs ram sacking the Greek people. Therefore the rest of this discussion is mute.

  • @newave123456 And you would have Greece do what, to say the hell with it, we are not paying anything back. Do you know the implications of that? Idealism is great, but reality is real.

  • @jbranstetter04

There is no "Greece against the world". There only is a "Global terror regime against the people". Whether this regime uses Greek puppets or USan puppets or French puppets or German puppets simply doesn't matter. And the puppets are all complicit, they work for the same boss.

  • @trakkaton Sounds like one huge conspiracy to me. I don't believe it. I see no proof of it, just conjecture and inyourwindow. Did I spell that last word right?

  • @jbranstetter04

The world of today is ruled by supranational financial oligarchs. They rule supranational corporations. Futher down in the the hierarchy are the puppets of the political arena, media, organized religion, police, terrorist/ drug orgs, jurisdiction, etc. If that's not totally obvious for you from what's going on, from the losing wars of attrition to the trillions for the banksters, from the private central bank of the US to economic hitmen you're in deep trouble!

  • @trakkaton I live in an America where I can make a business and create a product, provide a service or in other way make lots of money for me and my family. Banks even offer me huge lines of credit, or they used to, that I can take or not, but in no way am I forced to. The only thing holding me back at all is the government. Furthermore, it is only the government forcing me to do what I do not want to do, which is to pay outrageous tax rates to them. I know nothing of the SFO's.

  • A nation which has Socrates, Plato and Aristoteles in her heritage cannot accept to become the slave of jewish bankers

  • What is crazy is that Greece has only about $411 billion in outstanding debt. Why are we worried about Greece? When USA DEBT is over 14 Trillion!!! USA Will default, Lets talk it up how USA cant pay off its debt in even 5 years! Why are we worried about $411 billion and not the USA 14 trillion? Zionist Hypocrites! My friend the only reason why no one talks about USA is because America has the printing press and prints money out of thin air!

  • @HellenesOnline "the only reason why no one talks about USA is because America has the printing press and prints money out of thin air!"

It is not out of "thin air", it is backed up by the "full faith and credit of the United States".

  • @jbranstetter04

? backed up by what? REALLY?

USA never pays its debts because in every country they owe they either block it and make global propaganda either they are bombing the shit out of that country...

  • @jbranstetter04

That is ridiculous. It IS printed out of thin air i.e. there is no physical value behind it. And the insolvency of the USA is as overwhelming as its deindustrialization and trade deficit. The only way that they can keep going is the petrod0llar, war crimes, weapon exports, extortion and drugs. The moment where China has enough of its worthless US debt papers the d0llar is nil.

  • @trakkaton I see it differently. I see it as the US dollar becoming what it should be. I see American manufacturing coming back. I see easy street being replaced with working for what you get. I see America becoming stronger as the dollar gets weaker. I see America with its own energy sources. I see America coming back to being what it was 100 years ago. Do not discount what the United States has going for it. All is not so rosy in the rest of the world.

  • @jbranstetter04

What are you talking about? A reindustrialization? Can you even grasp how long that takes? How expensive it is? You have to INVEST for that. That's expensive. And there really is enough cheap labor around - cheaper than any USan. The core problems of the US (capitalism, corporatism, militarism, demented luxury and horrible poverty, national bankruptcy, etc.) are not adressed. Btw when you have a trade deficit and your currency falls it makes the deficit bigger.

  • @trakkaton To me our high dollar value gets us things, but at a price to be paid in the future. When I see products made in Germany and France on my shelves, I wonder why they are not produced here instead. So to me it is not just about cheap labor. I see two different brands of sandwich bags on the shelf. One is made in China and the other in the US. The one made in the US is cheaper. How is that possible? All is not as it appears. Something is going on.

  • @jbranstetter04

You didn't adress what I said. OK, you don't know that the d0llar is debt, you don't know the men behind the FED, or the Rockefeller and Rothchild Clan that owns half of the world, you don't know what "created out of thin air" means. But how exactely are you going to adress the problems I presented? And no, I'm not going to repeat myself.

  • @trakkaton No need to repeat yourself, as it is right above. It will be a long and hard road. There, I addressed it. Nothing good comes easy. I do not really want to go back 100 years. There are only a few tweaks of the system required. The first part of your last comment is not relevant. The wealth of the average American in the last 200 years been going nowhere but up. We all have opportunity to go even further. No one stands in my way except for too much government.

  • DAMN! He says everything so well..... Its so true!!! Im Greek and totally agree!

But wait.... some words are missing!!

    SIEMENS

    GOLDMAN SACHS

    CDO, CDS

    S&Ps

DAMN! Well said but from a total of 11 million Greeks some 10ths of thousands got big wages, didnt pay taxes or were bribed. What about the rest?

The 1:4 revenues to salaries claim is stupid.

  • The greeks aren't going to pay zilch, and good for them!

  • This is what is wrong with American Intellectuals. They dont know, so they go somewhere and "talk" to a few people, then proclaim that they know. Vulgar.

    Charlie surprised that Greeks might be angry at the Germans running Greece to ruin and then Michael talking about historical grievances like it was LSU vs Tulane. Mass murder, rape, torture, starvation,theft and the worst;

Germans knowing they might have taken Moscow but for the damn Greeks and those 6 weeks.

  • From today's news: despite of the severe crisis the country is in now and it dependency on money from the IMF and other European countries, Greece ordered 400 Abrahams tanks in the USA.... This is exemplary for the Greek state of mind: that the situation isn't that bad at all and they can keep on spending large sums of money and that Europe will take financially care of them...

  • 3 and a half seconds in I checked my email. I think i'll change my new mail sound.

  • I did thumb it up but I do not just thumbs your videos down right away I watch them and then thumb them down when I see you are wrong .

  • Wow you posted a video I like

  • @SaltyCaptianEcuador I read and watched about this issue from the left and the right, and there seems to be a common thread, the truth, but with a spin. So you're the one always thumbing my videos down right away. I assume you thumbed this one up.

  • @jbranstetter04

Good video, thanks. Who are these people? Do you have the full interview?

  • @patrickcorliss Yes I still have the full one hour interview on my computer, but if you want to watch it, go to Charlie Rose and then search Michael Lewis. Click on the interview for this month, as he has been interviewed before. He also tells a good "story" about Iceland and Ireland, and their part in the economic downturn of the the last few years.

  • @jbranstetter04

Got it, thanks. Yes, I'm interested in Iceland and Ireland as well.
