@delta1inc at that time, i had about 10. have been selling most of them, left with 3 6-string guitar and 3 7-string guitars. most arent very valuable.
dont know why but i couldnt have guessed this as vengerka if i didnt see the name of the vid. this sounds so much different then the one you played in your other vid.
@teleman07 listen to the chord structure/harmony. A lot of Gypsy guitarists can improvise to a Vengerka dance, this particular version by Orekhov was a composed version in a virtuosic/improvised style, it is just playing with a few basic chords from the Vengerka dance and puting a fancy guitar solo part over the top of it. im playing from a transcribtion to one guitar from what was originally a duet, similar to one of my other videos (A 7 string guitar solo over a 6 string accompaniment)
I saw in some of your previous uploads that you said you wanted to change your current "crappy" recording-device to something better, but I think otherwise.. Your current mic gives kind of an nostalgic/classical sound and feeling, something many can't achieve these days. Keep on playing, I love your guitar playing, it's really beautiful!
thanks, i do think i added a bit too much reverb on a couple of the latest ones but, not this one but. one day ill decide the recording sound i like :)
but what i think is too much reverb, others might think is not enough, i hear lots of modern classical guitar recordings with much more. i usually prefer a dryer sound, like a natural sound of guitar on your lap
@kpcart Hm, I do like guitar-pieces with a bit of reverb.. But I'm so used to play the guitar in large rooms that gives a lot a reverb, it gives a sort of "presence" to the music.
But then again, everything is about how you yourself like it and want it to be :) And like I said a year back; keep on playing, you're doing a magnificent job.
I fell in love with this song the first time I heard the 7 string duet version, yes the version I heard is from your channel as well. It bring tears to me several times. I really wanted to transcribe it to 6 string but from this version, although it is done great, some feeling is lost comparing to the original one. what a great piece of music it is!
hi, i play another version with the 7 string duet, its different variations in it. there is one version of this variation recorded by Orekhov, but its in bad cassette tape format.
@HeavensMeat most of my youtube stuff is full of mistakes. Every guitarist makes mistakes, and you hear it most when recording. the closest ive heard to perfect recordings are of John Williams. most classical guitarists these days do many cuts, sometimes up to 20 , and then cut and paste the best bits of each to make an audio track. this isnt possble with a video, as it would be obvious, so the option is 1 or 2 takes, or sit around all day recording, i dont have time for that.
Wow! How many guitars do you own I see 3 behind you. Regardless you play really beautiful, your heart truly is in your music.

I was wondering, do you always get these perfect on the first take? Only when I record do I make silly mistakes I wouldn't have otherwise.
