What do you expect a rental shop isn't gonna give you a $500 board to go play with for a few hours. This guy knows what he is doing and probably will do a better job then somebody at their own home because its his job and hes payed to do it

instead of base cleaner does a pine sole or multi surface cleaner work

Booo left the bindings on is a mistake!!! You generally have to at least lossen your bindings or take them off all together for the best results

@candle331 Cause leaving the bindings type means they are still pulling on the on the board creating a pressure points in the screw hole. The heat of the iron will only lose the pressure and create dimples where the binding screw on. I was always taught to at least loosen the bindings a little.
